Decent place in a nice location but the reef has been mostly destroyed near the resort. The biggest problem was that the water was not drinkable (so also not suitable for brushing teeth)! At this price I would expect basic things like this to be in place. I ran out of water one night and had no way of getting anything to drink without walking for over an hour to the nearest water station. The staff were nice but the food was uninspiring and overpriced. The rooms were simple but OK.

La wifi ne capte pas dans la chambre, la promesse n’a pas été tenu. La chambre est relativement propre. Le personnel est très chaleureux et accueillant, bien prévoir de prendre une voiture de location et de prévoir la caution pour visiter sinon c’est très compliqué.

At first, I found myself completely fine with the accommodation, but once construction started up it was too noisy to be there. The lounge chairs by the water were mostly broken and even on my day of checkout when I had several hours before I needed to leave, they decided to clean the furniture on my porch by sanding it making it unavailable for me to use and impossible to have any kind of a restful experience. They asked for a US$20 deposit to have any use of beach towels and then an additional Fr.600 for daily use that is promised to be refunded upon departure. I did not have that kind of cash on me on a day that I needed to towel, I was given one for Fr.300 deposit as it was what I had in my hand. Then upon departure, I was refused the refund of the deposit, even though I returned the towel because I hadn’t given him the $20 deposit to begin with. Everyone was very nice to me until I checked out and then suddenly they were incredibly rude and refusing to refund my security deposit when it should’ve been returned given that the item I borrowed had been return to them in good condition. overall, the place is incredibly overpriced for what you get and given how much you’re spending you should be given beach towels and usable lounge chairs without being asked for additional funds.

Our room had only been completed just prior to our arrival and wreaked of paint during our entire stay.The toilet seat was broken for 3 days and hand towels were also not available.We had one meal at the restaurant and it was horrendous-we walked out without finishing it.The hotel has potential but needs a serious revamp and so does their kitchen & menu.Having said that one staff member Cindy was excellent and did everything she could to improve our stay.Also the beaches on the site are inaccessible for swimming and also quite treacherous as one of them has stone fish whose spines can cause a nasty infection.

Idéal pour une première étape en Polynésie Parfait après un atterrissage à Papeete pour "lancer" votre séjour en Polynésie. Une bulle de tranquillité, avec une équipe et un directeur de site à l'écoute, et force de conseils. Les bungalows sont confortables, le restaurant excellent avec un petit déjeuner très varié ! Et le plus, au cœur d'un lagon donc on peut observer les poissons pendant que l'on se restaure ! A visiter absolument !

Rather moribund, understaffed and not as described. We had three major issues at Kaveka which tainted our time on Moorea. We had chosen it specifically because it is described as having “a private beach” and our chosen bungalow was “on the lagoon”. This is at best misleading and at worst a deliberate distortion. We found that only one or two of the bungalows have a beach with lagoon access. Our bungalow, and others, have a low sea wall with a patch of sand on the land side of the wall for our loungers. The sand also served as a main walkway for other guests so it is not private space. The hotel description mentions access to “beach umbrellas”. Our “beach” - the sandy area in front of the bungalow but behind the sea wall - received intense afternoon sunshine that mandated at least partial shade. But the staff told us that they do not provide beach umbrellas. The hotel description on ******* is therefore wrong and needs to be updated. The hotel’s guest wi-fi was highly unreliable and intermittent. We complained twice over two days and each time we were told to wait while it was “reset”. I wasn’t going to waste more vacation time complaining more since I had reasonable cellular coverage. You might not have! Do yourself a favor, and avoid the temptation for what seems a good deal and instead pay extra for a better place - the Cook’s Bay Resort next door is modern and lovely - and perhaps just stay fewer days. Your vacation time will be so much better!

1. Checkin ist offiziell ab 15:00. Wir waren kurz vor 15:00 da - wir mussten wirklich bis nach 15:00 Uhr mit dem Checkin warten obwohl alle Zimmer unserer Kategorie frei waren. Soetwas habe ich noch nie erlebt. 2. Ausstattung der Zimmer uralt. Im Badezimmer gibt es keinen einzigen Haken um ein Handtuch aufzuhängen. Keinen! 3. laut Beschreibung bei ******* hat der von uns gebuchte Bungalow ein Patio/Balkon und Lagoon-View. Patio war nicht vorhanden. Blick auf eine Wand. 4. laut Beschreibung gibt es Strandliegen, Sonnenschirme und Strandhandtücher. Ein paar alte Strandliegeb sind vorhanden, keine Sonnenschirme. Für Strandhandtücher wird täglich eine Gebühr verlangt.

Joli cadre, bungalow assez spacieux par contre nettoyage à revoir. Rideaux très sales, cafard. Petit déjeuner cher pour le choix proposé et service de service de nettoyage uniquement changement de serviettes et lit refait. Poussière non faite. Manque des moustiquaires aux fenêtres salle de bain + toilettes pour éviter les moustiques à l'intérieur.
