My family traveled from Pennsylvania to Florida to spend 3 nights in a 3 bedroom Condo at GRANDVIEW RESORT managed by RESORT COLLECTION (Panama City Beach, Fl.) We paid their price. Upon entering the Condo, observed was debris everywhere including a mound of trash greeting us at the front doorway. This Condo was a Biological hazard because it wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival (information received from Management). Upon immediately notifying Management that we desired a refund due to the unsanitary conditions (Covid, Monkeypox, etc... is a concern) that we’re observing. There was dust & sand everywhere - “on all the floors”. There was dust & Sand everywhere - “on all the floors”. Linens in the closets were apparently used & just returned up in a closet without proper sanitation or folding. The Living Room table didn’t have the center glass! - and the list goes on. RESORT COLLECTION declined our refund request. The associate from Management stated that there was work recently in the Condo & cleaning wasn’t done, that there was nothing that they could do for us regarding the unsanitary & unsatisfactory condition of the Condo. The Associate requested that I send her photos as we spoke, which I immediately provided. Instead of help with the situation, I received more excuses. Instead of the immediate requested refund, they moved us to a smaller 2 bedroom Villa for the night, away from the Beach - to a property that didn’t meet our requirements nor is it comparable to where we paid to stay. Since it was already evening, we had no choice but to stay that night in that Villa (I had to sleep on the floor), only to depart the next morning. We had to leave Florida the next morning because we had nowhere else to stay. Remember, our initial reservation was for 3 nights overlooking the Ocean, we never received anything that we paid for. Although requested, we never received a telephone call from RESORT COLLECTION MANAGEMENT regarding our horribly disrespectful experience. It short, you pay these Management Companies upfront because they know they are peddling crap. When you read the Rental Contract be sure to understand the nomenclature regarding dirty or unclean rental properties. Management knows the Condos (and furniture) are ruins but they expect their Customers to except the filth. Renter beware. I wish that I could lower the rating b
