We paid $570 for a 2-night stay that looked charming online—but what we walked into was completely different. The ceiling looked like it could cave in at any moment. The stove was rusted. Cabinets were broken and hanging loose. The walls were filthy, stained, and bare—no decor at all. The condo felt neglected and depressing, with zero resemblance to the photos shown on the listing. We left immediately and contacted the rental company, assuming they’d want to make it right. Instead, they offered us $68 back—for a unit that was clearly unfit for guests. We documented everything with photos and are pursuing a formal dispute.
