We stayed in a 2 bed suite. Our first suite smelled badly of Urine. I complained to reception and they moved us immediately. The staff were excellent. But the staff and breakfast are the only good things about this hotel. The sofa and carpets were badly stained, the bedding badly creased, the baths were both badly stained and one was very rusty around the plug. We have stayed in Marriott Hotels for many years and this is not up to their usual standards. It felt dirty and for the price we payed we expected better.

The staff was the redeeming factor of our stay. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. Nell at the front desk was exceptional. The grounds were dirty, the room was dirty, and many of the furnishings were in need of repair or replacement. For example, the blackout curtains were falling apart and the other curtains were shredded at the bottom. The carpet was stained and the tile in the bathroom was cracked in many places. The entire room was dated, which would be tolerable if it was clean. I was there with a group who comes to the desert yearly for a golf tournament. We all agreed we would not stay here again.
