Too noisy due to bar on first floor

This hotel is in a great location, but it really needs an overhaul. The room felt quite dated, and the ceiling had signs of previous mould. It appears to have been cleaned, but not very thoroughly. We had 2 mugs only and there was no sink, you had to get your water for the kettle in the bathroom along with cleaning the cups and saucers. We stayed for 6 nights, and between my partner and I we were only given two towels for the entire stay. Any additional towels had to be paid for — which is completely unreasonable. At the very least, extra towels should be provided without charge. The outdoor garden area also needs attention, with a lot of leaf litter and overall lack of maintenance. Overall, the position is excellent, but the condition and basic amenities let it down.

Es war für mich eine sehr erholsame Woche. Einfach lange Spaziergänge am Ozean, viel lesen und kreuzworträtsel. Im Hotel war ruhig trotz der Nähe zu Restaurants. Die Lage war fantastisch. Ich würde immer wieder weiter empfehlen.

Great price and great location.

We booked and due to unforeseen circumstances had to cancel. Wotif were fantastic with they're service but Paradise on the beach would refund any of the total amount paid so list the whole amount, so I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, unless you're walking in from of the street. Huge thumbs down from me and extremely Unaustralian.

The facility is very dated and not maintained well. At least for the price we paid for. In my opinion, A 3 stars is lucky. There is no windows, the sliding door opens to the court yard, which right face to the BBQ, outdoor dining area, pool and spa. no privacy at all. The bathroom was very old, the shower is over the bath, the glass screen was attached so badly to the bath and try to stop the water from the shower onto the floor. A lot of water was on the floor from the taking a shower. I booked through *******, i didn't realzied that there is no service at all for this 6 days booking. I accept that there is $60 fee for one service. But no change of towels for 6 nights stay is a bit too much for us especially it's a tropical seaside reef holiday. On the check in, there was only the key handleed over to us, wifi password , no direction at all. We are on the 1st floor, thought the reception is 1st floor, but mistakenly, there is a ground floor. A bit disappointed ..., we have to come back to ask... I wouldn't recommeded it to anyone for that price.

Ok, so, it’s in a convenient location for the beach, restaurants, bars. The hotel staff were very nice. The room itself was clean but it’s a little dated and could do with an upgrade. It’s noisy at night as it’s so close to the bars etc. There are only 8 or 9 parking spaces so if you get back later it’s street parking. One night we had to park half a mile down the road.
