Short transfer from Sarajevo airport. Ski and boot hire sorted at the hotel. Short minibus transfer to and from the slopes every day with friendly driver. Hotel staff are very friendly with good English language skills. Comfortable cosy rooms with plenty of TV channels, including a couple of English channels. Huge food servings with different breakfast and main meal choices each day. Drinks are very reasonably priced. And they have a gorgeous hotel puppy called Nora!

Our family travels a lot all over the world and while we usually do not leave reviews I decided to leave one for Hotel Forest because of their exceptional service. We were visiting Sarajevo area and we did not have a real plan where to stay, either in Sarajevo downtown or maybe somewhere just outside of the city. In the last minute , on a recommendation of a friend, we booked 2 nights in Hotel Forest. We did not have any special expectations but as soon as we arrived, we were positively surprised by a friendliness of their stuff. Ladies that worked that night went over and beyond to give us all the details upon our arrival. We have 3 kids and we carried a lots of stuff and waiter insisted to help us carry it to the second floor. Their behavior remained the same during whole our stay. During dinners, breakfasts etc (where we had additional friends over) they did everything they could to make us feel like home. Hotel itself is small but very modern and very clean. Rooms where we stayed were exceptional. Food was also great, lots of choice. One night was a pizza night and it was all you can eat pizza where you could try dozens of different kinds of pizza, all very unique - quite a good idea. The main balcony of the hotel/restaurant has a great view on forests and mountains around the area , which are beautiful by themselves. Position of the hotel makes it possible to spend a day in Sarajevo downtown than in very short time go to Jahorina mountain and enjoy spectacular beauty. Hotel is 15 minutes drive to Sarajevo center and around same distance from Jahorina mountain gondola. What was an unplanned visit turned into an idea to visit the same place next year again. We highly recommend Hotel Forest in Pale to anyone who wants to visit Jahorina mountain, Pale or Sarajevo area.
