Right next to Yala Safari park and the Beach. Lovely views and pool. Rooms were lovely the bed and furniture were comfortable. Staff were very nice and accommodating and ensured the best possible stay going above and beyond, speaking fluently in English and Sinhala. If you’re lucky elephants sometimes wander near the hotel too. 10/10

Total scam place. The photos on the website does not match with the actual room. The food is inedible here (had to send back multiple dishes) and we had to go next door to Jetwing Yala to have a proper meal. WiFi is 0.4mbps, which is unusable. When we checked into the room, it was full of flies.

From the exceptional service provided by the hotel team to the thrilling adventures I had during my stay, everything was perfect. First and foremost, the General Manager and Front Office Manager were exceptional in ensuring that every guest felt welcome and taken care of. The level of professionalism and attentiveness they displayed was truly outstanding. They went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and make sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The Front Office Manager in particular was very helpful, providing me with detailed information about the various activities on offer and even offering personalized recommendations based on my interests. Speaking of activities, Laya Safari offers a fantastic range of exciting experiences, and I was fortunate enough to enjoy some of the best during my visit. The horse riding experience was one of the highlights of my trip. Riding along the stunning coastline and through the picturesque surroundings was truly a magical experience. The horses were well-trained, and the staff ensured that we were safe and comfortable throughout the ride. I highly recommend this activity to anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy the serene beauty of the area. Another thrilling activity I had the pleasure of trying was the ATV rides. For those seeking a bit more adrenaline, this is an absolute must-do! The ATV tracks took us through some exciting terrains, and the ride was both fun and exhilarating. It was a great way to explore the area from a different perspective, and the guides were fantastic, ensuring that we had a safe and enjoyable time. As for the Yala Safari, it was a truly memorable experience. I’ve always wanted to visit Yala National Park, and Laya Safari made it even more special. The safari tour was expertly organized, with knowledgeable guides who were passionate about the wildlife and provided insightful information about the animals we encountered. We were lucky enough to see elephants, leopards, and a variety of other animals in their natural habitat. The entire experience was both educational and awe-inspiring. In addition to the exciting activities, the beach at Laya Safari is another reason to visit. The pristine, untouched beach offers a perfect setting to relax and unwind. Whether you prefer lounging in the sun, taking a peaceful swim, or simply walking along the shore, the beach is the ideal spot to do so. I spent many quiet moments here, enjoying the natural beauty of the surroundings. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely fantastic! Every meal I had was a delight. We are a group of people patronized the property and it was very memorable one. we all enjoyed well and the GM to all the staff were very friendly and supportive, they arranged the venue and evening party with camp fire was fantastic. Vey calm and quiet place for all category of people, However you need to be very careful with your vehicle parking and safety because of elephant attack. do not keep any food items in the vehicle. This hotel is one of the best located in Sri Lanka and in Yala. It is built on the top of a sandy dune in the middle of wild nature. It is only 12 minutes ride to the Yala Natinal Park Main Entrance. The hotel is organizing Safaris, horse riding and yoga lessons. Every room is huge and comfortable with big balcony and an amazing sea view. The hotel general manager, Colonel Udayarathn, is a very fine personality who makes you feel comfortable. He is helping you with any concern and you feel save and protected in the hotel area. The infinity pool has fantastic emerald color, you can relax or have a little gym excercise. The architecture of the guest housed is unique. We stayed here for 2 nights in july, the ocean was wild and we had a coninuous salty breeze. The nights were calm and cool and we slept well in cosy beds. All in all we do highly recommend this hotel for people who love nature and relaxation.
