Weirdly busy little town. When we arrived it felt like the town threw a party and forgot to invite us. Kids were running around everywhere dripping wet, multiple groups were in the lobby chatting loudly, and doors were slamming. Looked like the Applebee's next door was providing the bar service.
Thankfully, it all quieted down by about 10pm.

we had a very pleasant overnight stay after an extremely stressful journey up from Myrtle Beach.
the room was clean, comfortable and the desk staff were extremely friendly and courteous.
This will be our go to hotel for future trips coming home.

Spent extra for a room with a jetted tub. Upon check in was told no tubs are jetted, however there was a hot tub in the pool area. Was assured it was in working order. When I got to the pool area, the hot tub was closed. Asked front desk if I could use it anyway and was denied. Very disappointed!
