科莫多飯店

The location on the seafront is great and we had a lovely sea view from our room, Isadora Duncan, which was large with a comfy bed. We really liked being able to go to the shared kitchen and get breakfast whenever we were ready. Helen was great, making sure that we had everything we needed when we arrived and knew where everything was. She also responded really quickly when we couldn't work out where to plug our kettle and ran short of tea bags. The only slight downsides from our point of view were a lack of storage space in our room, there were a few small drawers and no hanging space, and some noisy motorbikes riding up and down the road. We are not used to any road noise so this may have bothered us more than it would others.

It was fantastic to spend 2 nights in Comodore with the seaview bedroom. Helen was a very amiable, friendly, and caring host. It was the first time we experienced the accomodation like this; an ensuite bedroom, self service continental breakfast with all needed ingredients provided, a communual kitchen allows you to cook whenever you want, that's fantadtic idea! We will come back again

We stayed in the Agatha Christie room, It was very spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view of the promenade and sea. It is a short walk to the shops,bars and restaurants. Also a nice walk through park is a short cut to the shops and other facilities including the railway station and the steam trains platform to Dartmouth which is a lovely scenery trip. The Bus station is opposite the railway station, You can get a bus to all the other holiday coastal towns.

Helen made us feel very welcome and we felt well looked after. We were treated with freshly baked cream scones on our arrival. The room was very comfy, clean and had a lovely sea view. Even our 13 year old Chihuahua was spoilt with a special doggy bag. The well equipped kitchen had everything we needed and more. I can highly recommend the Commodore Hotel and will definitely go back when i visit that area again.

We have just returned from a 5 night stay at commodore. From the start of booking this guest house we have had great communication from Helen who runs the Commodore. We stopped in the Agatha Christie room which was a generous size and a great sea view. Lots of daw storage, plug sockets and an extra bonus a settee which was a lot nicer than just having a bed in a room. Bathroom was good with a decent sized shower. We brought our dog and there was a welcome bag for her, containing seat covers for dog to sit on, 2 food bowls, treats and a towel. Downstairs the kitchen was so well equipped. Breakfast was supplied with a good selection of cereals,bread crossants. It extra bonus that we weren't stuck to a ridged Breakfast scheduled time. The location of The Commodore was fantastic as we were walking distance from the main part of town with several choices of public transport in the town. We were literally across the road from the beach. Helen was so accommodating and couldn't have been made to feel anymore welcomed than we did and so pet friendly. The whole experience from start to finish was feeling totally chilled out all of our stay.

We stayed here over the weekend had a lovely stay and the manager is very helpful and friendly made us very welcome and I would stay here again. The room was clean and the sea view was spot on . We would recommend this hotel to anyone as your near all the amenities
