Sorry to say that this review isn’t about an actual stay as we couldn’t get past the guy on reception to actually make reservation. We saw a deal on a well known booking site so rang up from home to confirm a few details like parking and check in time and the room being offered on the deal, He said the price was wrong and and that we couldn’t have it at that price and then offered us a lesser room with out the included breakfast for more money. Even though the well known booking site had it at a reduced price with breakfast. We’ve used the site many times before to book weekends away and never have any issues. Had we just clicked and booked I wonder what we would’ve ended up with- maybe no room to stay in? I see that this B&B gets excellent reviews which apart from the fantastic deal being offered was the reason we chose it. Just felt the attitude from the guy on reception who took the phone call made us very stressed out and frustrated. Booked elsewhere because of this.

We stayed here recently for one night. The hotel itself was great. The rooms are clean and tidy and the bed was lovely. Location was really good, nice and central to the pubs, bars and shops but not loud or noisy. Close to the beach. Value for money was great and we booked directly with the hotel manager who was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Bed,shower on suite, TV,access to wi-fi,dev was very attentive and a good breakfast to be had.a very nice place to stay and is central to Paignton .only stayed for a couple of days wish it was longer as the price was very reasonable.roll on next year if it's possible

Fantastic stay ideally placed for everything you need in Paignton! Lovely clean good sized bedroom with all that you need in it. Breakfast was superb a great selection and a tasty full cooked English served up. Well what can I say about the owner but what an extremely helpful and polite person, nothing was too much trouble and you were made to feel valued as a customer. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking here again

The location is great, very close to most of the things there are, great if you are going for a hike or a swim, yet very close to the city center. The service is wonderful!!! staff is very friendly and outgoing. I really enjoyed the breakfast that was searved, the room itself is also really good: very clean, with a very comfortable bed!

Lovely friendly proprietor. So helpful. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Quiet and very clean. Close proximity to everything especially the Green. Would definitely recommend and return Thank you for sharing your history and family legacy with us, most interesting.
