"We stayed at this so-called hotel for two days in April 2025, and the experience was nothing short of a disaster. We booked it through MakeMyTrip, which irresponsibly lists it as a 4-star property. Let’s be clear—this place doesn’t even deserve 2 stars, let alone 4. Yes, the rooms were decently clean, but everything else was absolutely pathetic—from the dismal food to the miserable condition of the common areas. Before checking in, we called the hotel to confirm its star rating. Not only did they deny being 4-star, they threw in a vague “A category” label, which is a nonsense excuse for dodging any real classification. When we raised this with MakeMyTrip, they kept pushing the same scripted lie, insisting it’s a 4-star hotel. Shame on both the hotel and MakeMyTrip for this misleading representation. For anyone considering this place, do your own research. A simple Google search reveals the truth—TripAdvisor, which the hotel itself proudly lists as a partner, categorizes it as a 3-star hotel. Yet the hotel staff flat-out denies this too. It’s pure deception and manipulation. To make things worse, the entire premises was under noisy, dusty construction, reeking of enamel and paint. The common toilets were in a disgusting, unusable condition. The food was so bad we had to leave the property and eat elsewhere—at places like ITC Peak and Pine and Hotel Heevan Resort—just to have a decent meal. The only saving grace—and I say this with emphasis—is that the hotel is centrally located in the Pahalgam market area, which fortunately made it easier to survive the nightmare that was their in-house dining. That location is the only thing that kept this experience from being a total write-off. Overall, this was hands down the worst hotel of our entire trip. Avoid it unless you’re willingly signing up for disappointment."
