THE PIG在哈林灣 - 康沃爾

This was our first time staying in a Pig hotel, and won’t be our last. Absolutely fantastic. We were on our honeymoon and we were upgraded from a delightful cosy room to a huge room which was so thoughtful- and were given a jar of honey which was adorable! The room was beautiful and everything was so thoughtful. Dinner was equally as fabulous, we had the pork and it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and attentive. The mocktail was the best I’ve ever tasted. Breakfast was delicious! Loved it! Atmosphere spot on. Only things I’d change… we were told there was a turn down service which sounded delightful, but didn’t happen. And needed a good light for make-up application for evening. Otherwise perfect.

Superb ambience, great food, friendly staff! We will be back! The Rose was delicious, the house was so beautiful, we just wanted to explore it all. Loveky to see the history of the building too.

We were greeted warmly and shown to our garden wagon. WOW! They are stunning! Secluded setting, so quiet. Cute, rustic, very well laid out, everything you need - tea, coffee, full fridge, snacks, shower gels, bath scrubs! The outdoor shower is a MUST! It’s just glorious having a good quality shower in the open air. The bath is deep and huge and the indoor shower superb! The housekeeping team keeps the wagon so clean. We had turn down in two nights and were offered on third but didn’t need as we were back from our day out. Thank you and congratulations Pig Team!

Popped in for a late lunch on a lovely afternoon in May. Sat outside on the terrace, surrounded by flowers and tranquility. A fish finger sandwich and ploughman’s hit the spot - good quality, fresh, tasty ingredients - perfect for us

Disappointing food. Small portions with no vegetables included. Asked for tap water and it didn't get served until we repeated our request and it came after we had finished our main course. Very expensive for what we got. The staff are very young (nothing wrong with that!) but far too casual in their attitude. This may be the image that the restaurant owners are wanting to portray but it did grate. I would definitely not go there again even if it was free of charge..

We had never been to a Pig before and loved every moment we were there for dinner. The food was sublime but quite apart from that there was so much about the place that was relaxed and comfortable and such things do not happen by accident. To name just a few details which made a big impression: smartly dressed but at the same time “casual” staff, lack of matching chairs, cutlery, crockery etc (these could have come from a junk shop but thought had gone into this and it worked!) and the attentive but not overbearing staff were supremely friendly. We walked round the kitchen garden before dinner and it was a delight to see and then we had the benefit of it at our dinner. Everything that we ate was delicious: home-made breads, hake, gurnard and blancmange (panna cotta). Well done to you all and we will find an excuse to return. Robin Lane, Devizes
