This was one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in. The attention to detail in the beautiful was fantastic with the inclusion of a coffee machine and an Alexa. The staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Added to that, the food wad absolutely top notch and service was of a very high quality. Will definitely be returning soon

Always stay here. The very best service, food and people. I always recommend this hotel and always want to come back would highly recommend. The rooms, the food are great. Perfect for a trip around Pendle hill and the surrounding areas. Parking is available if you get there early enough- otherwise street parking is fine.

We got married at The Lawrence on Saturday. It was the most perfect day and that was down to the meticulous care and attention given by the whole team. Olivia was an amazing wedding coordinator and ensured everything went to time without a hitch. The whole venue looked beautiful. Our guests were all commenting on the lovely building and decor, the intimate setting, and of course, the amazing food. From canapés, to wedding breakfast, evening Buffet and breakfast the next morning everything was delicious and served with the utmost care and by friendliest team of hospitality staff. Honestly those young people were amazing. I cannot recommend nor thank Michael and his team and The Lawrence enough. Memories will last us a lifetime.

We had our wedding at The Lawrence in Padiham, and it was absolutely perfect. The venue’s rustic charm created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere, and the afternoon tea was delicious and beautifully presented. Special thanks to Olivia, our amazing coordinator, who made everything effortless and personal—even down to making sure my plate didn’t have cucumber (which I can’t stand!). Every detail was taken care of, and we truly had the best day of our lives

Very quirky, friendly and comfortable boutique hotel. The staff are incredibly helpful, lovely breakfast choices, very comfortable room, hot shower, fluffy cotton towels and lots of little extra's including a little guest kitchen with addition tea, coffee, fresh milk and an ice maker - such a brilliant idea. Definitely would recommend.

We stayed for a wedding and the breakfast was great and the bed mattress and pillows were also fab! The staff were friendly and there were varieties in the different rooms around the hotel. I also appreciated the Grade II Listed features!!!!

Lovely staff, with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing and plenty of it. Reason for stay was being a wedding guest which took place at the hotel. Very impressed.

Jen & her whole team, were fantastic, from start to finish. Room great ( apart from the odd drain smell ) Room 5. Food was 10 out of 10 ( wished we had got, what we thought, were was goint to get though ) as it did say when we booked through Buy a gift and paid a bit extra; it was half board and as we were their for 2 nights; we had to make our own arrangements for 2nd night and also the grab and go ! Was not really breakfast; in my mind anyway ? Apart from that, the food, that we had, was fantastic and also all the staff Hope they shared the cream eggs :) Don & Dee xx
