Das Personal war nicht sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kamen vor der vorgegebenen Check-in-Zeit um ca. 12:30 an und haben nach einer Toilette gefragt. Das Zimmer war noch nicht bezugsfertig, eine Toilette sei nicht vorhanden. Wir mögen eines der nächsten Restaurants aufsuchen. Das Frühstücksbuffet wurde im Empfangsraum aufgebaut. Tische und Sitzgelegenheit gab es nur in einem überdachten offen Raum nebenan. Wir haben dann im Zimmer gefrühstückt. Frühstück am Montag (Abreisetag) war erst um 7:45 AM aufgebaut.

Place was very clean. However rooms leave a lot to be desired. Shower was horrible. No pressure and only lukewarm water. No place to sit and eat or put on makeup or anything. Bathroom was the size of a postage stamp. Could barely turn around. Staff were not very friendly. Could not produce a receipt when checking out. Asked me to write down my email so they could email a receipt. Will never stay there again.

Staff was friendly. Check in lady was a sweet heart let me check in late. The food provided was filling. Room was very clean and homey. Loved the tall shower. Outside was very clean and beautiful. Deer almost touchable outside in the morning.

We had a very comfortable stay at Wilkies, property is clean, room is well designed to maximize the space, bed is comfortable, and price is reasonable. Will definitely stay there when we go back to Monterey.

Hotel room was okay carpets outside my room are disgusting. Front desk Indian lady was rude and made us feel comfortable when we went down for breakfast she was watching us . I was charged 17 dollars Im not sure why.

I made two mistakes when I booked this facility for a 5 night stay: 1. I assumed that a property listed by ******* met a certain minimum level of competence. 2. I assumed that a property with the name "Clarion" associated with it met a minimum level of excellence. I was wrong on both counts. This is one of worst places my wife and I have ever stayed. And, if I taught a class on "Hospitality", I'd have the class observe the woman who worked the front desk so they could see "how not to do it". The property was undergoing badly need renovation while we were there, which meant our room was very, very noisy with the sounds or construction. The inconvenience associated with this construction-renovation was not noted by either ******* or Clarion. Because of all this, you would think Clarion would have made a discount coupon available at checkout. Not to be. When dealing with ******* and Clarion, I've learned "buyer beware".
