Ich habe schon viele schöne Hotels besucht auch 5 Sterne Hotels aber das Light House toppt alles!!! Sensationell jedes Detail ist perfekt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment wohl gefühlt. Wenn wir gewusst hätten was uns erwartet wären wir noch ein paar Tage länger geblieben. Ich habe dort meinen Geburtstag gefeiert. Unglaublich was Darrol, Hendrik und das ganze Team für mich vorbereitet haben. Ich werde diesen Geburtstag nie vergessen!!! Danke, danke, danke ihr seid wunderbar!!!

Wir waren zum 2. Mal im Light House. Von der Ankunft bis zur Abreise ein Erlebnis der besonderen Art. Mika ist unglaublich. Seine Ansage: "Sir it is not allowed", damit meint er alle Tätigkeiten die der Gast erledign wollte sind sein Revier. Vom Gepäck über das Umparken desa Autos, steht am nächsten Morgen wieder in Fahrtrichtung, bis zur Auswahl beim Frühstück, alles was man möchte wird gebracht, immer frisch, wenn möglich homemade. Zimmer sind absolut Top, wir bekamen sogar daa upgrade. Besonders freut es uns immer wieder, wenn abends die Handtücher frisch sind und die Betten aufgedeckt. Der Pool ist tatsächlich einer mit einer Länge von ca. 22 m und Breite von 7,5 m kann man wunder bar seine Bahnen schwimmen. Es war der größte Pool auf unserer Reise. Besonders genießen wir immer die abendlichen Gespräche mit Hendrik und Darrol, so erfahren wir Dinge auf allen Ebenen über Südafrika, die in keinem Reiseführer stehen. Und es bleibt dabei: die Designideen von Hendik & Darrol sind umwerfend. ich würde Beide jedem empfehlen, der seine EInrichtung erneuern will. Nur die Anreisen sind etwas weit. Nutzt die Möglichkeit im Light House einige Tage zu verbringen, wenn irgendmöglich sollten es mind. 3 Nächte sein um dden Service, das Ambiente und alles drumherum zu erleben. Erst dann weisst Du was Service ist, erst dann fühlst Du Dich wie in Deinem eigenen Wohnzimmer, nur mit weltklasse Service. Bedenkt auch, alles ist endlich und wer kann schon sagen, ob man in 2028 noch dieses Einmaligkeit erleben darf. Hendrik & Darrol es war uns eine Ehre bei Euch sein zu können und zu dürfen. Zu Ende ist es erst, wenn wir noch einmal bei Euch waren. Wer The Light House (TLH) nicht erlebt hat, verpasst die einzigartige Chance eines der mit Abstand besten Small Hotels der Welt erlebt zu haben. Und wir haben schon einige Hotels in der Welt gesehen ud erlebt, aber TLH hat sie bisher alle getoppt. Vielen Dank für Alles und ich hoffe, wir sehen uns wieder. Albert & Regina

Amazing Boutique Hotel The best hotel we have ever stayed in, it was immaculate, staff were so professional and friendly, room & facilities spotless, wished we’d discovered on our previous visit and two nights not enough time to enjoy everything on offer. Thank you for making our trip so special!

The Light House was most definitely one of my favourite hotel experiences ever. Everything was of 5* quality from the moment we arrived. The team that work here are so caring and professional, they thought about everything for us. The hotel room felt really luxurious down to all the small details, very well decorated. Two course breakfast on the terrace was exceptional for the two days we stayed there. Loved the free mini bar in the room. We were attending a wedding nearby so I only regretted really not having enough time to properly relax and enjoy more of this special place.

Very rare level of hospitality. This gem in Paarl is perfectly designed and maintained and offers small scale luxury. The staff's attention to detail is phenomenal. They go all the way to make you feel pampered.

First time here, but for sure - NOT THE LAST TIME ! It's a place that you want to keep for yourself and do not want to tell anybody else about ! From the first entry where Petro met us and to the last minute when we left - it was just FANTASTIC! They only have 5 SUITES and their attention to details and service is remarkable ! For instance - after we had been out walking during a very varm day ( +35 ) we rang the bell at the gate. The gate opened and when we had walked 15 meters towards the door, Petro came out with a tray, with 2 bottles of ice cold water and 2 glasses. Well, it was like that the whole time. Fantastic breakfast with a plate of fresh fruit that looked like a painting, so well composed ! Mika was alo on place, serving us breakfast, parking the car and also one evening drove us the the restaurant - as there was no taxi in place. We just think that one should, from time to time, spoil yourself with a treat like this - meaning stay at a place like this. We just LOVED IT !!
