哈當厄爾峽灣飯店(Hardangerfjord Hotel)

It has a connected swimming centre and is right next to a lovely beach with a great view. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was in good condition, very clean and cosy. The only letdown was the Christmas dinner buffet, which unfortunately we couldn't have because the fish and veggie options were limited. But a very good variety at breakfast!

After a rather exhausting day of charity work for a Humanitarian Aid group (loading goods for transport to Ukraine) it was very VERY welcome to arrive at this hotel. Staff at check-in was friendly and accommodating. Also - very positively - parking for our oversize vehicle was easy accessible and spacious. Standard rooms were big and openly furnished. They seemed clean and neat. Beds were comfortable and the room had a small balcony. During the evening the bar-staff were friendly and talkative, very accommodating also to requests they did not expect. The breakfast was stunning. Plenty of nice food presented in a beautiful manner. Bread was tasty and fresh and condiments plentiful. All in all a good and heartwarming experience, although not the cheapest hotel I've ever stayed at. ;-) Thanks. Will be back next time.

Well located. A good point to move around the fjords. Large greeb garden with beautiful views to the Fjords. The hotel breaks the nice Nordic architecture with a huge concrete building and an ugly metal structure of a public pool next to it. The hotel is large and rather focused on large groups or for business use. The hotel room is rather small and the shower had mold in some areas. The room didn't look very clean. I wouldn't recommend this place unless is for business

Das 2020 renovierte Hotel ist kein mehrstöckiger Komplex, sondern ein weitläufiger Bau mit Blick zum Fjord - und aufgrund der Weitläufigkeit sehr ruhig. Bei meiner Ankunft habe ich ein Upgrade erhalten, ein DZ mit Balkon und Fjordblick. Restaurant, Lobby und Zimmer sind skandinavisch modern designt, zweckmäßig, aber geschmackvoll. Das Frühstück ist skandinavisch reichhaltig, man kann sich zum Nachtisch selbst Waffeln backen. Das Hardangerbadet direkt nebenan ist für Hotelgäste zum halben Preis nutzbar, hier gibt es eine Sauna, Massagedüsen und Strömungskanal, ein 6x25-Meter-Schwimmbecken und eine Riesenrutsche - mit Zeitanzeige...

This is a bit delayed, as I’ve just finished a 3-month trip. But because my experiences here were superb, I wanted to follow-up with a review. The basics were certainly met, as the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. And the TV, Wi-fi, and shower all functioned well. Beyond that, though, the staff was amazing. Efficient with the business aspects, pleasant personalities, and helpful with advice - making the whole experience just enjoyable. And as I departed after a good breakfast (with good, diverse offerings), I saw an employee meticulously setting other tables, ensuring that things were simply perfect. A small thing, perhaps, but there just seemed to be a focus on ensuring that everything done well here, and that was much appreciated. And, yes, the location on the fjord was also amazing!

We selected this property specifically for the indoor pool, well, the day we checked in we were told the pool is closed for maintenance for the whole week. It would have been nice of them to let me know this in advance so we could have changed our booking to a different hotel. The hotel is in a very small town with very limited dining options. The hotel restaurant is very bland even the breakfast was the worst of any we stayed in. Had dinner one night where the chicken burger was just horrible.

great location at the waterfront. all rooms quiet and with access to a large lawn area. beds comfortable, rooms good condition. cosy indoor and outdoor seating areas. amazing breakfast with large variety of food, in house fresh baked bread, lots of fruit, cooked food, etc great value for money - highly recommend

Hôtel avec de jolies prestations, dont un excellent buffet de petit déjeuner et des espaces salon très confortables. Toutefois, au vu de la taille des chambres, des salles de bains minuscules et de leur mobilier vraiment très basique, on est plutôt sur un standard 3 étoiles que 4… Quant au restaurant, les plats sont bons mais là aussi le choix de la carte est trop restreint pour un 4 étoiles. Personnel attentif et souriant 😊

Flott hotell og beliggenhet. Hyggelig personal! Litt kjipe rom til en relativt stiv pris (1850kr) mandag-tirsdag. Ikke noen form for glass eller kopper på rommet. Ingen kaffemaskin, ingen såper etc. Og kun 1 liten pute i hver seng. Frokosten var enkel, ikke noe fersk juice eller «noe ekstra». Små ting som hadde løftet hotellopplevelsen for vår del.
