Will not stay at this hotel again. First of all, NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. They have a small Cafe in lobby with BIG prices. Unacceptable when there are so many other options. Here 2 days & never saw anyone at the Cafe. Noticed no breakfast a day in advance, but they wouldn't let me cancel. They require 48 hours advance notice [most other hotels is 24 hours]. I reserved on the Bonvoy app, as I do all Marriott properties. However only this property wouldn't allow a mobile key. They said because I reserved with points....which I do every where else & every other place allows. The room fridges are absolutely tiny. Much smaller than dorm fridge. Might hold 6 pack of soda. No microwave which is practically standard these days. New build, so nice shower & modern. Other than that absolutely lame.
I saw some bad reviews and I didn't understand how that could be. They have a no pet policy and that sold me on the motel. I could really care less about bad reviews with a no pet policy. We booked the room through *******. When we arrived the desk clerk was friendly and we had a reservation for a king bed. We were given the card key to check out the room at our request. The room wasn't going to work for us because there was no tub only a shower. The desk clerk's name was Sissy. She said that the only rooms with tubs were the handicapped rooms. I told her that would be fine with us. She started looking and discovered that the only handicapped room they had was not going to be available for our 4th day. We would have to be moved. I told her I didn't want to move but after talking with my husband we decided to take the room. Later on the night desk clerk John was able to fix it so we didn't have to move on the last day of our visit. We think he went out of his way to fix the problem to keep us in the same room for our stay. The housekeeper whose name is Deborah was always checking on us when she would see us in the hallway. We did have a complaint with loud music in the room next to us. Deborah handled that problem within an few minutes. She should be the manager in my opinion. This was the most friendliest motel I have ever stayed in and we do travel a lot.
