This was our first time at this hotel. We stayed the previous night at Scandic Oulu City Hotel but preferred the atmosphere at this hotel although the hotel building looks quite ugly from the outside. We booked a Superior room. Our room was ready on arrival at 11:15. We had asked for an early check-in. The rooms at this hotel are not very spacious but practical. The bathroom was small but looked recently renovated. We liked the mist shower head. The only thing in our room I didn't like was the sofa bed. It was so uncomfortable to sit on. The pillows from the bed helped somewhat but one bigger pillow would have been perfect. The breakfast was pleasantly calm on Thursday morning. The food selection is wide and it was easy to find everything. The tables were cleaned effectively by the friendly staff. Our stay had a good value for the paid 114 euros. As a Scandic TOP Level member, my partner got a 15-euro restaurant voucher but no welcome gift which is stated in the member benefits. However, that was not the cause why I dropped one star away. It was because of the very uncomfortable sofa bed.

Nous apprécions beaucoup la chaîne Scandic pour la qualité de leur chambre et la variété de leur petit déjeuner. La réduction conséquente obtenue si l'un des occupant a plus de 65 ans ( code PEN) vaut vraiment la peine! Cet hôtel est tout proche de la gare et de la gare routière sans être éloigné du centre ville. Il y a de très belles balades à faire sur les petites îles reliées par des passerelles et la ville est belle. L'emplacement est idéal et notre chambre donnant sur une large cour intérieure, il n'y avait aucun bruit. Piscine agréable mais pas très chaude et sauna à disposition. Possibilité de laisser les bagages avant ou après l'heure de checking et du check out. Une bonne adresse.

Hotel from the past. Hotel design is from 80's and would urgently need upgrade. Meeting room area is all but modern or nice, and having meetings in -1 floor is not really something you wish for. Price and quality do not match at all. There are other hotels in Oulu as well, choose one of them.

This is a Scandic chain hotel near Oulu railway station. Booked it because this was the cheapest hotel I could find for that date. Not the cheapest, booked a month in advance, costed 155 € with a refundable rate and Scandic Friends discount. Upon arrival, the reception staff were not the best, but got the job done. We needed the room early so we paid the 20€ extra and went to the room on the second floor. The room was bot the most modern, and not perfectly clean. The sofa in the room was weird, if you sat too far on the edge, the bottom would just fall off. The beds were okay, no bedbugs or anything. There was an old TV, and a table with a chair. The bathroom was very weird. The wall ledges were torn and the paint was partially gone. The shower door was weird as there was a large hole to open the door resulting in the water splashing through it. There was a swimming pool and a sauna, but we didn't use those. There was not much other amenities available. The breakfast was the regular Scandic breakfast, not particularly good but keeps your hunger away. All in all, I don't think this is worth 155 €. If you manage to find a low price, it's doable for one or two nights.

Scandic Oulu Station is located only a short walk from the train station on a quiet street, still close to the amenities and sights of the city centre. My room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast buffet had a good range of hot and cold options available. Note that there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so I imagine it could be very warm in summer, but was not a problem during my visit. Overall this is a very nice hotel in a quiet location, and I would stay again.

When you travel with your own car, this hotel is handy. Parking, especially the parking garage is good enough. Breakfast is excellent, particularly early in the morning when the warm food is still hot. It was suprising that there was even skagen available. Cosy, clean room. Good beds.

The whole place smells like damp. You just simply don’t want to stay there. It just gets worse. The breakfast is awful. Mens sauna isn’t working. Came back from work and the room hadn’t been cleaned. No cleaning staff around any longer, so they gave me a voucher, a voucher for what? You don’t want to eat here either. Truly sorry to say this, but I’ve been around quite a bit and this is the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Everything worked well for a overnight pitstop, but not big emotions. Quiet location near trainstation. Breakfast were with Scandic standards. Rooms are luckily renovated nowadays. For this property you can easily reach city and trainstation by foot.

Old hotel with a small facelift does not so mutch. The room was clead but bathroom smell from the sewer was not so nice. The room was hot because there was not any aircondition available. The fridge in the room was warm so it could not be used. If you want to have quality time, do not wisit this place. Renovation would be useful.

There it nothing to do for children. There is a small play corner, but it's in the back of breakfast room and only in use during breakfast. Why is it not elsewhere? If you have small children, go somewhere else.

An excellent night in Scandic Station. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and well laid out. We will definitely be staying here again.

We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is conveniently located 5 min walk from the train station. This hotel is nice, with clean nice rooms, and a very good breakfast. Staff were very professional and friendly. Oulu Market Hall is only 15 min walk from this hotel and there are lots of shops nearby.

The visit began with very joyful and heartwarming welcome by receptionists. The room was very clean and modern for a typical Scandic. However, breakfast was exceptional! All products were fresh and the variety seemed more plentiful than normally in Scandic hotels. The hotel was full and I was lucky to get the last parking spot when arriving to the hotel around 5pm. I have preferred the other Scandic in Oulu but will definitely return to Station!

The breakfast was delicious 😋 and the coffee was good 😊 I will definitely try to suggest this hotel to my friends and relatives who might like a change of scenery as well as some more time for them
