伍德蘭飯店(Woodlands Guest Accomadation)

Une incroyable découverte ! Niché dans le charmant village d'Ougtherard proche de Galway, nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cette superbe maison idéalement située pour visiter le Connemara. Au milieu d'un joli parc arboré, ce B&B apporte tout le confort que l'on peut imaginer. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie est douillette et confortable, les sanitaires très spacieux. Mais surtout, nous avons été accueillis et guidée par Barbara qui vous reçoit comme si vous étiez ses meilleurs amis. Et bien sûr, les petits déjeuners sont savoureux, variés et très copieux, servis dans une véranda pour profiter d'une belle vue sur la nature. Un très grand merci à Barbara pour sa gentillesse et son sourire. Nous recommandons sans modération et gardons précieusement cette belle adresse dans nos agendas pour y revenir si nous profitons à nouveau de ce beau pays.

Nous avons été chaleureusement accueilli par Barbara. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits et c'est la plus belle étape de notre voyage irlandais. .La maison et le jardin sont magnifiques. La chambre est spacieuse et propre. Le petit déjeuner parfait. Allez passer un moment au Pub Powers du village:)

Barbara et son mari vous accueillent dans une magnifique maison à l'extérieur d'Oughterard, que l'on peut atteindre en 10 minutes à pied par un petit chemin boisé. Notre chambre quadruple était parfaite, Barbara y passe tous les jours pour s'en occuper. Les petits déjeuners irlandais ou continentaux au choix sont délicieux et hyper copieux. Là encore Barbara s'occupe de tout avec une bonne humeur extraordinaire. Son mari et elle connaissent bien sûr la région par coeur et vous renseignent à volonté. Nous avons passés 5 nuits à Woodlands et le séjour dans le Connemara restera un magnifique souvenir, Barbara y est pour beaucoup.

Very love location! Barbara is a very special host, she welcome us in her house with her kindness and she listens to all our needs! room is very nice and tidy! Breakfast is very good and there are many differents choices, including yogurt, cereali and delicious pancakes homemade by Barbara! There also is the possibility of Irish breakfast if you want! Barbara is an excellent host, she has a beautiful and clean home with every necessary accommodation. She supplied us with recommendations dinner reservations in town, maps of the nearby sights and an overall excellent experience for me, my wife, and my kids. It is perfect for families. Just perfect!! Barbara is awesome!!

We had come from Australia to catch up with family nearby. Barbara and her husband made us feel like part of the family! From the delicious cooked breakfast, to the spacious room with ensuite- what a gem! Nothing was too much.. Thankyou Barbara and John

Great guesthouse with a nice garden, full comfort, nice and well equiped rooms, dining and relaxation space! Barbara and her husband made us feel home, spoiled us at breakfast and provided us with fantastic suggestions for the trips around and the restaurants/pubs! The Sky Road is an absolute MUST!

We found the place randomy, travelling through the area and we were pleasantly surprised! A cosy family room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and hospitable, the breakfeast was great too! Situated just a few minutes walk from a quiet village of Oughterard, this is a great place for explorirng Galway bay and the Connacht region.

I have stayed at Woodlands a couple times now and cannot say enough good things. The property is beautiful and walking distance to the main street and a couple pubs. Rooms are absolutely gorgeous and breakfast is the delicious way to start your day. Highly recommend and will continue to return to this gem.
