Ondanks dat we al bijna 50 jaar zijn getrouwd, bewoonden wij Sienie, de bruidsuite. Wat afgelegen, zeer rustig met uitzicht op de wijngaarden, fruitbomen, bergen en wat schapen. Heerlijk, koele, schone en mooie kamer. Zalige buitendouche met het geweldige uitzicht. Een hottub (niet gebruikt) maakt het compleet met een eigen terras met zalige buitenbank. Het zwembad is mooi, lekkere ligbedden en leuke stoelen. De prachtige tuin is voorzien van veel zitjes. Het restaurant met de welluidende naam “Patat” serveert een overheerlijk ontbijt met een ruime keuze. Wij aten er ook ‘‘s avonds en het diner was goed op een leuk terras met zicht op de tabaksplanten. De bediening is vriendelijk, sympathiek en ook efficiënt. Zeer zeker een aanrader

Posto magnifico tra le montagne. Abbiamo abitato la residenza principale. Camere polite e spaziose Anche qui no bidet e niente doccino…, lavarsi una sofferenza. Piscina piccola ma molto carina. Abbiamo cenato bene ed il personale è stato molto cordiale. Nessun aiuto per il trasporto valige.

De lokatie kon niet beter gekozen in de natuur, ver van het drukke leven. De kamer stijlvol ingericht met oog voor detail. Alle gemakken voorzien voor de ochtend koffie/thee en ook voor de persoonlijke verzorging. Lekkere bedden die groot genoeg zijn met ruim gekozen beddengoed voor elke temperatuur.

Prachtige locatie en heel mooie kamer in koloniale stijl met grote en complete badkamer. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ontvangst met sparkling rosé. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en het diner van de braai smaakte ook erg goed.

Swartberg Manor is a true gem—beautifully decorated and perfect for a romantic or family getaway. The scenery is breathtaking, and the host goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. Sunsets are incredible! Highly recommended!

We loved our stay the room was extremely comfortable with a lovely bath and views of the Swartberg mountain. The pool was great to cool off and we had 2 incredible suppers at Patat restaurant, the staff were so helpful. Great way to celebrate our 20 year anniversary.

Should you visit Oudtshoorn, Swartberg Country Manor is the place to stay! The people are exceptionally friendly, the service superb and the view of the mountains breathtaking!

It is always a highlight of our trip when we can book into Swartberg Country Manor. The rooms are well equipped, the view is to die for and the restaurant, Patat is in a class of it's own. The best Ostrich Steak we have ever had! Thank you for the priviege to share this amazing space with you.

A truly amazing place in an idyllic setting that cannot be improved upon. We were en route to a further destination so could only stay one night and were so sad to leave - I know we’ll be back for longer!
