Nous avons été merveilleusement accueillis dans cette superbe demeure aux meubles anciens et à la décoration raffinée. Un joli jardin, une piscine pour se rafraîchir tout est calme et reposant. Petit-déjeuner et dîner de qualité. La région vaut aussi le détour loin du tourisme de masse. Les autruches sont les reines !!! Nous avons beaucoup aimé.

Lovely boutique hotel with luxurious rooms in an area of ostrich production. Food offering at breakfast was generous and extensive, while the evening offerings were beautifully presented. There is a small pool if you need to cool off and a spa facility. Lots of outdoor seating on the lawns and terraces. Our room was sumptuous. Spacious and beautifully furnished. Good wifi service. Service was excellent, with friendly and accommodating staff. Would definitely come back here

From the moment we arrived at La Plume, we were swept away by its old-world charm and beautiful farm setting. This is not just a stay – it’s an experience. Surrounded by wide-open spaces and peaceful views, it’s the perfect escape. Our room was spacious and ornately decorated – it felt like stepping back in time, in the best possible way. The food was absolutely delicious, and the ambience throughout the property is warm, welcoming, and relaxing. The spa was a real highlight – I had an awesome facial and a lovely chat. Truly pampering. Best of all? The people. Every member of the team was professional, helpful, and genuinely caring. Nothing was too much trouble. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed. A true gem for anyone looking for a luxurious farm stay with character and heart.

We arrived here as part of a group, on tour, on the garden route. Service was extensional. Food was one of the best meals we had in South Africa. Absolutely loved it here. Rooms are amazing here too. So peaceful. You can also see their resident ostrich’s

Nice Victorian ranch. Pleasant welcome and lovely welcome drink which was iced rooibos. Huge room and massive bathroom. Lovely touches with plants on flannels and robes. We stayed for dinner which was lovely, ostrich of course. The dessert buffet was laden with cream, sugar and gluten, shame they didn't have some healthier options. Pool nice area. Make sure you drive the Swartberg Pass from here, outstanding!

This little guest house is amazing. Great attention to detail. Lovely staff. Fabulous food/ostrich steak was first class. Comfortable rooms and spacious bathrooms. Very clean. Variety of spa treatments. Nice little pool and comfy sunbeds. 5 stars all round.

This was a great spot to break our journey from Franschhoek to Plettenburg Bay. Would have enjoyed an extra day here as the amenities are excellent. The accommodation was spacious and very elegant reflecting the rich heritage of the area as the centre of the ostrich feather industry in Edwardian times.

Best holiday stay ever. Every little detail was absolutely brilliant. Beds, rooms , bathrooms immaculate. Staff were very attentive to every request. Food was excellent and plentiful with loads of choices. Would definitely come back again and again. Cannot praise this enough for a 5 star relaxing holiday. Only wished we could stay longer. Sean and Pam from 🇮🇪 Ireland.
