Oben Deutsch, unten Englisch / German above, English below! Wir waren im Oktober 2024 mit zwei Kindern im Wildehondekloof und sprechen bis heute fast jeden Tag von der schönen Zeit! Ganz besonders ist die Lage: mitten im Nirgendwo erlebt man echte südafrikanische Natur ! Ganz besonders wird der Aufenthalt durch die engagierten, freundlichen Mitarbeiter. Danke für den herzlichen Empfang Morne! Das Essen war individuell (vegetarisch) und liebevoll zubereitet- Dankeschön an das ganze Küchenteam und Andre! Und bei einer Wanderung haben wir dein umfangreiches Spezialwissen über die Pflanzen- und Tierwelt sehr geschätzt, Quintin! Wie vielfältig die Heilungskräfte der einzelnen Pflanzen sind konnten wir durch dich erfahren, danke! Bei Wildehondekloof bekommen alle ihre Wünsche erfüllt: Gäste, die Ruhe suchen und Sterne beobachten möchten genauso wie Familien, die Tiere und Pflanzen hautnah erleben wollen und später in den Pool springen wollen :) Es ist eine private, familiäre Atmosphäre, die den Aufenthalt für uns so besonders gemacht hat. Wir werden wiederkommen und können Wildehondekloof zu 100% empfehlen! Thank you! The location is very special: you can experience real South African nature in the middle of nowhere! The stay is made even more special by the dedicated, friendly staff. Thank you for the warm welcome Morne! The food was personalised (vegetarian) and lovingly prepared - thank you to the whole kitchen team and Andre! And on a hike we really appreciated your extensive specialised knowledge of the flora and fauna, Quintin! We were able to experience the diverse healing powers of the individual plants through you, thank you! Wildehondekloof fulfils everyone's wishes: Guests looking for peace and quiet and stargazing as well as families who want to experience animals and plants up close and later jump into the pool :) It is a private, family atmosphere that made our stay so special. Great remote wild experience. Friendly attentive staff. Safe hiking routes. Game warden very knowledgeable. Clean modern rooms. Eating breakfast with njala buck 2 meters away. Game drive had beautiful kloof and great variety buck. Saw the cape lapping lark doing mating flight for first time.
