We stayed in a motel unit at the Otorohanga Kiwi Holiday Park for one night. The room was adequate for our needs, being quite spacious and close to town. The automatic check-in at the kiosk was efficient but lacked a personal touch that other holiday parks in New Zealand have. Service was prompt when we encountered an issue with our room, and it was quickly dealt with; thank you. In regards to the overall cleanliness, the room appeared to be well-maintained, however, there seemed to be a noticeable scent which perhaps could be addressed in future cleaning routines to enhance the freshness of the room. Despite this minor hiccup, I appreciate the efforts made to provide a comfortable stay.

Short stay over, 1 night, on our way to Tongariro National Park. Rented 3 person cabin with kitchen and bathroom - Nice facilities for campers Even a fitness center on the property ... Rooms Nice and clean. Could have been better equipped (kitchen stuff) but Nice place...

Located centrally in the small town of Otorohanga between the by-pass and main railway line so it,s not the quietest spot around, nor is it scenically located, but if you are passing through on the long-haul (Auckland - New Plymouth, say), it is perfectly located, as it is for visits to the Otorohanga Kiwi House or Waitomo caves. Clean, well maintained, excellently managed and the facilities are as good as you will find anywhere. plus it's close to shops and cafes (as long as you are prepared to climb over the stile and cross the railway lines - not strictly legal but do look both ways first....)

I stayed for two nights on a powered site with my camper van from 24-25th April. After other Kiwi Holiday Camps, this was something of a disappointment. It is sandwiched between a railway line on one side and an industrial park on the other. It's a very small campsite with correspondingly small facilities. Which were clean, just basic. The showers however were excellent. I didn't get a great welcome, the manager didn't even know if the internet was any good. I was also disturbed by the thumping of music from the gym until gone 10.30 at night. The piece de resistance was the television room which had three very old, very grubby armchairs which were lethal to sit on - unstable and I nearly fell off two of them when I leaned back on them. Photos attached! The only advantage it has it that it's close to the Kiwi House and Waitomo caves though there are others in the area. My love for Kiwi Holiday Camps is over I'm afraid which is a shame as the two others I have stayed at were very nice.

Stayed one night whilst travelling south. Called in on spec all ok, traffic noise early morning was a put off, good play area for granddaughter. The apartment was clean and adequate, and it had a good, powerful shower with ample hot water, also beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful when needed. All good would highly recommend if travelling in the area, fulfilled our needs. Thank you for getting us in.

A bit disappointing as when booking the website wasn't quite the same as the actual cabin. No air con but to be fair I didn't check, just assumed. I wanted a fully self contained unit so we could cook. There was a camp kitchen which was clean The pool was awesome
