Absolutely gorgeous. 5 days at wonderful Lupaia was a highlight of our trip. Morning walks in the crisp clean air to neighbouring towns followed by fabulous breakfast made from local fresh ingredients in the beautiful garden set every day up for success. The cooking class is a must, we had so much fun and the negroni sunset experience is a very special intimate evening watching the hilltop town of Montepulciano glow in the setting sun. The restaurant is superb with daily set menu of top quality seasonal flavours. The facility is a stunning old villa from 1622 and the amenities are all modern and 5 star. As amazing as the location and the place presents it is surpassed by the staff and the friendly service they provide. Nothing is any trouble at all and it was an absolute joy for us to spend time at Lupaia.

This was our second visit to Lupaia and we had another unforgettable holiday. Just as wonderful second time around. In fact, even better! We received the warmest of welcomes and really felt like we were being greeted by old friends. Lupaia is stunningly beautiful in every respect - the property, the decor, the gardens, the food, the views, the pool. But the real sprinkling of magic comes from the team that elevate its beauty to even greater than its perfect individual parts. From the moment we arrived the warmth from the team was joyous. Big smiles all around! And that continued in spades throughout our stay including the fondest of farewells. The feeling in Lupaia is one of complete tranquility. It’s magical. It truly is a very special place and there’s absolutely no doubt that we will be back to Lupaia soon!

I feel a bit silly writing this so late. My husband and I stayed here last year during our honeymoon, and our first day of as magical! The food (breakfast, dinner) was unreal, the pool & hot tub overlooked a magical view, and the various nooks made privacy very real and possible. So many cute spots to drink an spritz and read a book. However, it’s the staff that is unbeatable. Early in the trip my husband was involved in a bike accident outside the hotel - Fabio went out of his way and spent his personal time to take us to the hospital. He & the staff made sure that we were taken care of for the rest of uthe stay - a doctor visited us, they helped us with room service, and I could tell every member of the staff had our back. I hope anyone reading this doesn’t face this, but rest assured this staff is unlike anything I’ve experienced, going above and beyond in every way. We dream of visiting one day again, so we can enjoy the magic we missed out on for the rest of the trip. I’ll never forget the people here!
