石門旅館(Stone Gate Inn)

Room was clean and comfortable, however the restaurant was not open and no room service for meals.

I booked here as it was advertised as “shuttle service to ******” but upon arrival there was a sign up and no service running since COVID, website not updated. It was a 40$ cab fare to ****** one way. Had hoped for room discount but did say they would send a complimentary stay voucher. The free breakfast was just a few apples yogurts and the eggs were BEHIND the counter and had to request them. No other hot food options.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was beautiful room but my only negative which is no big deal is. There was no face clothes to wash your face etc just towels and no hand soap just a little bar soap. Also one of the remote controllers is not working properly. Besides all that it was great. A grocery store and beer store in walking distance is very convenient as well. Will stay again.

Quick check in and out. Quiet and clean in the rooms. The only downside was the breakfast. It was quite minimal - thin waffle mix, artificial maple syrup, eggs (no bacon or sausage), bread, yogurt and warm water for tea. If you’re not eating there, it was a good place to stay.

I stay at many hotels that offer breakfast...this one wasn't one of my fav.....waffled wasn't cooked enough...i didn't think i put to much batter but normally there is a proper mesure cup/machine...the eggs were blah....no taste at all & no choice of meat (bacon, sausage) first time i should have just had toast...would have been nice to use hot tib but it was empty...when inquired about it the lady at the front desk gave us a deer in the headlight look...

Location was convenient to shopping and waterfront. Disappointment with room television, air conditioning not working in room on a hot and humid day, and no telephone to contact front desk. Bathroom lighting switch was situated so that both the light in the toilet room and the light in the vanity room were on the same switch so that the light shone into the bedroom at nighttime when someone was using the toilet. The hotel did give us another room which we were grateful for but it was one more inconvenience of packing up our things and moving to another floor.

The property interior is tired and in need of refurbishing. Cleanliness was mediocre but adequate. Lots of dead house flies in the windows which indicate surface cleaning is the main focus. The staff were pleasant but seemed to be operating on a low budget,doing their best.

Didn't know until we arrived that shuttle service has been suspended for indefinite amount of time. This is a vbig reason for choosing this hotel. Also, wifi was terrible and there are not enough outlets. Needed 2 power bars we brought from home to use on the night stands

It was great! Room was clean and spacious. The toaster in the breakfast room takes forever to toast and we didn’t find a ton of parking but made our own spot. Overall we would stay here again
