紅酒石旅館(Wine Stone Inn)

12 room boutique in small town just outside Santa Maria. Outstanding service, quiet location, two hour happy hour with free drinks, nice continental breakfast and great location to wineries and restaurants.

The hotel is marketed as 5-star but it is more like a small 3-star inn. Some examples: - No pool - No gym - An old ice machine and microwave in the hallway - No common spaces beyond a small living room - Breakfast consists of store-bought pastries wrapped in cellophane - Room is spacious and clean, but with simple cheap furnishings - The walls are paper thin, I could hear my "neighbor" snoring loudly through the night In my opinion, the stay is heavily overpriced. If it was marketed as 3 star I would not have been surprised.

It’s not easy finding a small reasonably priced hotel in the Santa Barbara area and this is a wonderful gem of a hotel in a quaint town. Everything other reviewers have said is true: spotless, full of amenities and thoughtful touches, within walking distance of many restaurants and if you are focused on wine tasting this is a great location.

Although the hotel was super nice and clean, it definitely was not a 5-star hotel. I don't how it could possibly be rated 5-star on *******. You expect a lot more from a 5-star hotel, with nice restaurants, gym, gift shop and other amenties. The breakfast was your typical motel 6 cold continental breakfast, and that's about it.

This is a great little getaway spot. Small but very clean hotel with a very friendly staff. It’s in wine country so it’s a little isolated but close enough to major shopping in facilities without the traffic and congestion. Great place for a romantic getaway. Because it’s small, the amenities are limited, but it’s well worth the stay. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful little hotel nestled off the road. Staff was super friendly. Rooms clean. Bed comfy. Shower hot and decent water pressure. Nice complimentary, continental breakfast bar.
