威洛格羅夫旅館(Inn at Willow Grove)

It was a pleasure to host a 3 day "Women's Summit" at the Inn at Willow Grove. The the venue was perfect, the service was exceptional, and the spa trea**ents were phenomenal. From the being greeted with a glass of Prosecco, to having coffee or tea, with beignets delivered to your room each morning, and peaceful surrounding, we couldn't have asked for anything more. I would highly recommend for pleasure or business. You won't be disappointed!

Absolutely perfect stay. The overlook cottage is perfect for your fur family. Our dogs were welcomed and well taken care of. The rooms are comfortable and the grounds are serene. Vintage restaurant is top notch. Relaxed service and creative dishes.

Our visit to the Inn at Willow Grove was so enjoyable! The accommodations, the staff, the food and the history all came together to make it a wonderful experience! Having some Southern roots in my family, it truly felt like coming home. Southern hospitality is alive and well at The Inn at Willow Grove! We plan to go back, perhaps at Thanksgiving. We know that it will be another special occasion!

The Inn is special. Every time we come we see small changes to its decor and landscape. They are always updating to help improve the guest experience. No wonder they get the recognition they do from various media outlets. What does not change is their staff, from Michelle in guest services, Wednesday in the restaurant and Kelsie in the pub along with their kitchen staff and Niki at the Spa. They are all fabulous as is the Inn. Truly a 5 star experience!

I just hosted a group there yesterday. We have been coming here for 20 years and I was so disappointed . Many entries have been removed from the menu and the prices have increased. I had a mediocre crab cake for $30 ! And a friend had a bowl of soup for $19! For a bowl of cream soup ! Really ! They would not give her a cup. I am done !! We are not coming back !!!!!!

We are repeat guests multiple times over at this boutique inn. So we were stunned at the lack of compassion and customer service when my husband and I came down with a terrible case of Covid and 48 hours in advance asked the hotel if we could switch dates. Mind you.. not get a refund, but simply switch dates. At likely the slowest time of the year for this place, the answer was no. We were instead reminded that we could have purchased travel insurance. For such a high-end place that prides itself on five star reviews, I’m surprised at the lack of customer service and inability to work with a repeat guest. Again. I wasn’t asking for a refund. We simply wanted to come on a different date a few days later when we weren’t so sick. We would have made any date offered work. I work in customer service myself. There are always solutions to make a customer/guest happy. This place offered none. We lost $400, but they lost so much more. Our last stay with them was truly our last. Such an incredible shame, but there are many amazing options in the Charlottesville area. Luckily, we live nearby and are familiar with all of them. And certainly familiar with the ones we are willing to recommend to family and friends in the future. And this place is no longer one of them.

This place was elegant. The drinks were excellent, the wine was really good, you didn’t even have to chew the filet mignon it was so tender and delicious. The sides with the entree were very different. I only gave the meal 4 stars because the desserts weren’t up to par. The carrot cake was dry, the chocolate was suppose to be “dark chocolate” but tasted like chocolate cool whip. No one in our party ordered the cheese board.

Stayed here for a one night get-away and couldn't have been more pleased. Shortly after I made the reservation I got a call from one of the staffers to confirm details and to inquire as to whether or not there was a special occasion (it was a birthday trip). Upon arrival they acknowledged the birthday at check-in, as well as with a handwritten note in our room (and cookies!). They also provided a complimentary room upgrade and a complimentary glass of prosecco for each of us. We stayed in a beautiful and spacious cabin with a ton of amenities included a heated towel bar and heated bathroom floor, as well as a gas fireplace. The room couldn't have been any more perfect, and the grounds were spectacular. In the evening they provided turn-down service that included wonderful chocolates that appeared to be homemade. In the morning they delivered fresh french-press coffee and beignets at a time of our choosing. Near our cabin were numerous sitting areas, including one at a fountain, and one in front of the Inn that featured gas fire pits. We also had a wonderful dinner at the Vintage, I'll share a review of that on the restaurant's page. Our biggest regret was having to leave. We will definitely return.

Five star experience! Book now! We have stayed all over the country and the world. This Inn has 5 star service and food. Comfortable rooms, French pressed coffee and fresh donuts delivered to the room each morning. Beautiful grounds. Close to many great vineyards. Service was outstanding.
