This is without a doubt one of the best hotels/ resorts we have ever visited. We decided to book this resort based on a recommendation from a lovely chap we met at Cap Maison in St Lucia (one of our all time favourite resorts) This was our first time in Croatia and we struck gold. Maslina is nestled in a beautiful cove just outside Starigrad. The property is stunning. Amazing views, beautiful rooms and the most comfortable pool loungers I have ever laid on. The pool area is beautiful looking over a spectacular coastline. They even have beds nestled into the waterfront. The staff are outstanding and extremely knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant serves outstanding local food and the cocktails are to die for as is the local wine. The rooms are extremely comfortable with views to die for and I recommend a room with a pool in the warmer months. The resort is situated outside the beautiful town of starigrad with its local food (recommend the blue doors restaurant) and a 20 min drive to Hvar ( which can be arranged by the hotel) . We treated ourselves to the speed boat transfer on one of the hotels speedboats which was fantastic and they also organised all of our trips (again with all attention to detail). The spa is the ultimate in relaxation and the treatments are extremely relaxing (recommend the intuitive massage). The whole resort has been designed with the customers wellbeing as priority. We absolutely loved the week we spent and will be back again in 26. A huge thank you to all the amazing staff who made our trip memorable.

We spent 5 nights at the Masalina resort in May 2025 and they were absolutely incredible. This was the end of an absolutely amazing 2 week vacation where we had stayed at other 5 star resorts and I was not sure Masalina could meet my expectations - it surpassed them! Batu is an absolute gem- he greeted us at arrival and made sure our entire stay including all of our meals were mapped out to perfection. All of our transportation was arranged and we did not have to worry about a thing. All of the staff was so incredibly kind and friendly. The resort is beautiful and so peaceful which is exactly what we were looking for. The highlight of our trip was taking the new Masalina boat out for a full day private tour. What a way to see Hvar! If you can do it- it is absolutely the best experience. Ivan & Ivan took the best care of us and it was the highlight of our trip. We absolutely recommend the Masalina resort. If you go- have a lavender spritz!

I agree with the previous reviewers. Its a little slice of Heaven. Batu and all of the staff at Maslina are extremely professional and welcoming. They did run out of some food items which I thought was stange and a bit disapointing however it was the start of the season. Breakfast and lunch were both really good. The salad is more than just a salad. The property is beautiful, tranquil, peaceful, very thai inspired. Room was nice. I would have preferred to be up closer to the front. We were not upgraded as an Amex Fine Hotels guest. The lavendar spritz drink is delicious. Poolside and oceanside areas- beautiful. Beautiful walk into town (20 mins). Town is adorable. Easy 35 mins from Hvar town/ferry. Would definitely return.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and we were blown away by the service, the people, the amenities and the food. Batu, the guest relations manager and his team, gave us a warm welcome and were extremely attentive everyday during our stay. From the interior design, the curation of the restaurant experience by Mario, the attention to detail from the staff, the beautiful island landscape and the incredible Spa amenities and services, everything felt very curated to a luxurious and mindful stay. We were able to relax and indulge in an effortless vacation thanks to Mario,Batu, Ignacio, Manu, Dorian, Alessandro, Kamal, and the entire team who made our 5days in Maslina one to remember. We will defiantly be back! Thank you very much!
