am writing to express my deep disappointment and regret regarding our recent stay at Treebo Skydale Inn & Suites With Mountain View, Ooty. Issue #1: Room Condition at Check-In We arrived at the hotel around and completed the check-in process, and were given our room. However, we were shocked to find multiple water leakages in the room. Upon reporting this to the reception, the manager initially tried to convince us to stay. Eventually, he requested us to move to a Standard Room on the ground floor, assuring us that we would be shifted to the Premium Room the next day. Although we had paid for a premium category, we accepted this inconvenience in good faith. Issue #2: Unhygienic Kettle in Premium Room As promised, our luggage was shifted to Room no 408 (Premium category) while we were out sightseeing. We returned around 7 PM, and upon entering the room, we noticed that the kettle contained orange-colored liquid and dust. When we reported this to the manager, he dismissively claimed the kettle had been cleaned and refused to inspect it in person, stating he was busy. When I mentioned reporting this to Treebo Customer Care, he rudely responded, “Go ahead.” I did report the matter to Treebo, but have not received any response to date. Issue #3: TV Not Working & Misleading Information On the same night, we attempted to watch TV, but it was not working. Upon contacting the manager, he claimed that none of the TVs were working due to a cable issue. However, we could hear a TV playing in the neighboring Room 407 and confirmed with the guests that their TV was working fine. When we brought this up, the manager reluctantly sent someone to fix it — without a remote. It took them nearly 45 minutes using manual TV buttons, further delaying our dinner. Issue #4: Forced Check-Out On the morning, despite no request from our side, the manager insisted that we check out immediately and settle the remaining balance. After a 10–15 minute argument, we were left with no choice but to leave. Although several rooms appeared vacant, he falsely claimed the property was fully booked. We left the hotel utterly disappointed, and my children were visibly upset by the entire experience — something we have never encountered on any of our previous trips. Issue #5: Unhygienic restaurant and service: The given breakfast food and quality is not up to standard according to the room price and also they touch the cat and serve the food without washing the hand,. Unfortunately, the attitude and conduct of the manager at Skydale Inn completely ruined our trip experience.
