Absolutely next level - the photos do not do it justice. The lodge, staff, 5 course nightly degustation dinners, activities in the surrounding Berkeley and Kimberley regions were amazing (river cruise to rock pools and waterfalls; boat and helicopter fishing. Be sure to get out and about and experience the sunrise, sunsets and outdoors.

This was our first trip to the Kimberly’s and what a fantastic location. Plenty of activities each day including hiking, river cruise, fishing etc. all staff couldn’t do enough to please us and other. guests The food was just sensational with chefs ready and willing to meet any personal needs or just to explain each dish. Views, swimming holes, helicopter tour etc were just breathtaking. Fishing always produced results with fingermark, mangrove jacks, queen fish and others all landed including a number of Barra with a 90 cm Barra being the top prise. Don’t let this wonderful escape pass you by. We will be booking another stay in 2025. David & Lee-Anne

What a fantastic experience!! The lodge, the staff, the food (thanks chef!), AND the daily excursions with fantastic knowledgeable guides. Got to make special mention of Bruce, Laura & heli pilot Nick!!! At times it felt like we were the first white-man to walk on this sacred, unspoilt land. The rock art; the waterfalls; the crocs; the climbs ... and it all started with a 2hr spa treatment on day 1 of our 5 day stay. Can not speak highly enough of BRL ... OMG - take me back!!!!

We had a wonderful experience here. Bush drives, cruise up the river , beach & sunset drive , fishing. All organised & planned for you & other guests. The evening meals were all amazing degustation with a different theme & matching wines . Staff very attentive & friendly.

Barefoot luxury in an exotic and remote location with breathtaking scenery and activities to maximise the experience. Limited to less than 40 guests in 20 bungalows. Food and beverages were first class; remarkably given the remoteness. Guides leading activities such as river cruise, bush drive, sunset drive and fishing were capable, casual and personable.

From the moment we arrived at the lodge, the incredible experience began and it only got better! We were greeted by staff after touchdown on the air ***** with a glass of champagne, a great start to our adventure. A briefing followed whilst we took in the amazing view over the Berkeley River, then we were escorted to our room & shown how things worked (not much to know really). The breakfasts, lunches & dinners were incredible, a very talented kitchen crew headed by Issy. We were provided with our itinerary which we loved. We embraced all there was on offer, had the best time on the river cruise, fishing cruise, sunset beach drive, hike, as well as the bush drive. We swam in freshwater pools, just magic & so serene. Our last night coincided with the final day of the 2025 season & what a night it was. The degustation dinner was incredible - another wow moment. The spa was also incredible, a perfect way to end our trip after a day of hiking. We couldn't recommend our stay any more, thanks to Hannah, Jake, Issy & team, Tom, Emily, Dina, Roberta, Bruce, Josh as well as all the other staff, it was an incredible experience, the best we've had in Australia (and we've travelled a lot around the world). Will definitely return another time with friends.
