奧馬哈西萬豪TownePlace飯店(TownePlace Suites Omaha West)

We arrived 30 min prior to check in and with a toddler we just decided let’s try and check in see if they would allow us to do so as we had traveled a long ways to get there. The front desk lady told us it would be 45-50 min as they hadn’t even started cleaning the room yet, so we waited in the lobby until it was ready. While we waited my husband needed to use the restroom so he did and then he called me from the bathroom asking me if I could let him out as the door handle was not only missing but broken and he was locked in the bathroom from the inside and couldn’t get out. Fast forward to being able to check in at 3:15 we went to our room and it was filthy, nothing looked like it had properly been washed or cleaned, the light fixtures were hanging off the walls, the smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling by wires and there was a hole in the bathroom door. The most disgusting part was my toddler was crawling around on the carpet and I’m not even exaggerating when I say the tops of his feet were black from how dirty the floor was, it was absolutely disgusting! This all was only a portion of our one night stay, needless to say we will never go back!

Second time I stayed here. Was fine the first time. Was fine the second time until the last night. A guest in a nearby room was smoking, which is against the rules, and it traveled through the ventilation system and made my room smell terrible.

The room I reserved was not provided. I could not get into the bathroom of the room provided due to the proximity of the bed to the wall and the size of the bathroom. I found hair, that was not mine, in the bed. Overall, this was a horrible experience

We went to check in and we had no reservation at that hotel even when I had the confirmation number. The hotel was booked so they could not give us a room.

The only thing that was good about this hotel was the water pressure in the shower. Our room stunk like curry and cigarettes. I woke up feeling like I smoked a pack of cigarettes when it was a no smoking hotel. The TV was also the smallest I’ve ever had in a hotel.

I can’t believe Marriott put their name on this property. Run down and not clean.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Room comfortable and well-appointed for extended stay. Problems: Some things were broken. Not being repaired, such as outside door lock, waffle iron. Cold water for shower on upper floors.

When we checked in there was nobody at the desk and it took awhile until someone appeared. It left me feeling vulnerable as there was no sort of security. What would have stopped someone from walking in making a key for any room and taking whatever he wanted?

We were supposed to have breakfast provided and there was not anyone working at the hotel in the morning, so no breakfast
