可愛的小酒店,安靜祥和。推薦一輛車,以獲得最好的,但有關它的一切都很可愛。很棒的員工,合理的食物,一定會回來的。坐落在國家中部,但距離機場只有一小段車程到coast.15分鐘車程。從機場打車約28歐元。地面很可愛,手頭有很好的步行和鍛鍊設備。酒店房間或公寓的選擇遠離主要酒店街區。所有員工都是這家酒店的功勞。

位置距機場打車15歐，城區核心位置，步行可以到老城區任何地方，設施與漢庭相若，乾淨衞生，早餐比較簡單，但一應俱全，總體來説，是追求性價比的不錯選擇

We had a five night break in Faro and stayed at this hotel, conveniently sited overlooking the marina. The airport bus drops you within a three minute walk of the hotel and the train station is just a little further away. We were fortunate to have a lovely room with balcony from which we could see the old town beyond the marina. The room was very comfortable and of a good size too. One disadvantage of the hotel is the small lifts from the reception area to upper floors: we used the stairs for easier access once we had taken bags to our room. The breakfast was very good with a pleasant area outside which was quite warm even in November. Entertainment was provided by a resident pianist and added a little to the general ambience of breakfast time. Overall, we were very pleased with our accommodation and would certainly stay there again if we were to revisit Faro.

特別好的酒店，本身是在就是一個palace，環境絕美！ 但位置稍偏，在一個小山上。 俯瞰法魯，風景優美！ 酒店服務特別好，房間也很大，我們住在0層，大大的陽台外麪常常有小貓過來，超可愛！ 乾淨舒適，是我們西葡這一路，住的最好的酒店。 早餐也還行！ 酒店還有兩個泳池，很貼心的有一個衹有50cm的小童泳池，特別棒！

I really enjoyed this hotel. It's a distance from all the faro amenities, but it only a few euros in an Uber to reach the heart of faro. There is a free shuttle bus each morning and evening to take you to and from the faro old town and the beach, but we chose to do things on our own schedule. It was only my son and I who stayed here for 4 nights. We loved how quiet the pool area was, and spent lots of time there. The hotel is basic, but clean and served our needs well. The air conditioning in the room was a must! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were all friendly, particularly the lady working at the bar. The hotel was clean, although a little dated. But that didn't bother us. Breakfast wasn't the best I've seen, but we enjoyed what he ate. Quality of food in general was poor. We had dinner by the pool one night, and it was terrible. But that is the only negative of our holiday. We booked the shuttle bus to take us to the airport after check out. This was a seamless process, and it was very helpful. All in all, we enjoyed our few days spent at hotel Monaco.

If you're looking for a great place to chill Herdade da Corte is where you need to go. A Rio Grande style and feel about it, surrounded by fabulous hilly views, orange, lemon trees, olive groves, and pure adulterated silence. You hear the whisper of the breeze throughout the outdoor areas which have casual seating dotted about, a sweeping view, and a to die for salt-water pool. If you want 5 star service and a butler this isn't the place for you! Our favourite time of the day was a leisurely hour and half munching our way through the buffet breakfast, consisting of 4 different freshly made juices, a good selection of local produce, bread, rolls, pastries and cake, cheese, cold meats, fruits, yoghurt, and natural cereals - while idly looking out to the hills. There's also an array of teas, and the coffee is via a machine which is good - but goat's milk! We've travelled the world extensively and it's rare to find such a place. If you want to jazz up your time there Tavira is charming, along with Tavira Island. You do need a car if you stay at Herdade and want to visit many areas, however, we had read other reviews and knew that - but we just wanted to relax there and do nothing! We stayed 4 days and did venture out 1 afternoon to a restaurant in St Luzia. Local taxi, very nice driver. 20 euro each way (same prices to Tavira) about 15 minutes journey. The owners Joao and Francisco are cool, interesting guys, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the area , local produce, wines, and activities to do there - hiking, etc. Good massage also available in relaxing room. €50 Personally speaking, we dossed (an English word for lazing about) around the pool , helping ourselves to the well-stocked honesty bar, with the occasional beer/glass of wine, absorbed in a few good crime novels. Please note: after breakfast there is NO food available until 7pm. We knew that and brought along our own snacks, nuts etc. The evening menu is mainly cold, very good local produce - oh, please try the prawns (they hot). We tried almost everything on the menu during our stay - couldn't fault anything. My husband arrived completely knackered (another old-school word for tiredness) and after almost 4 days rooted to the place said he felt like the Six Million Dollar Man! Spent 7 days here and was happy to leave to be honest. We had high hopes having arrived from the Hilton Vilamoura where we had 5 lovely days in a hotel where the staff and general atmosphere was/were a perfect complement to the fine facilities. More about that in a separate review. On arrival at Ria Park, we encountered three staff behind the counter chatting among themselves. We were the only ones waiting to be checked in. The three staff continued to chat before one of them turned to see us without acknowledgment and then turned back to the other two with a gesture as though it was someone else’s turn to check us in. Eventually one came to the counter and without greeting or even looking at us just said ‘Passports?’ Everything was quite efficient but oddly cold to say the least. When we got to the room, it was a twin. We had booked a double. So went back downstairs and said we’d like a double as that was what we had booked. The staff member said that we had booked a twin and the all their rooms were twins. After I produced evidence of our booking of a double they then turned to a colleague to consult and then turned back to say again that “all our rooms are the same”. There was another conversation behind the counter and the staff member returned to say ‘Ok, we will get housekeeping to make the bed up as one’. This turned out to be a perfectly adequate solution which left us thinking as to why this had not been suggested three minutes earlier. There was no apology. The opposite in fact. We were subjected to near eye- rolling, unveiled and obvious disdain. The seven days turned out to be fine. Pool area was ok. Bed very comfortable. Facilities and room dated but fine. Small TV screen. Breakfast quite good but the breakfast room staff, with the exception of the always pleasant and helpful Marta, looked a bit listless. Checkout was clinical as the whole week had been. No inquiry as to whether we had enjoyed our stay. Nothing. An unsmiling parting. At best, this is hotel with mostly four star facilities and an efficient if box-ticking service.

Rating by the door was a one star but should be rated a bit higher. Was given a 3) bed room (3 x twin beds) which was ok, except the 3rd bed took up precious room space. Room was clean, shower was clean, entire hotel appeared clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Free parking was available. Hotel is near the road but did not notice any undue noise at night. Hotel has a nice patio and a pool. Vending machines are available on property. Close enough to Tavira town to walk, just need to navigate the roundabout carefully. Walking in the middle of summer may not be advisable though. Room had a well functioning and quiet A/C. A small refrigerator was available. Breakfast was good and included in the room rate. The pastries were very good. Also available was a variety of breads, jams, some cold cuts and cheese and a bowl of chunky fruits. Coffee (machine) was somewhat typical of the area, coffee came out either too strong or too weak. Ended up using the black setting and adding my own milk. It's a bit odd that the traditional coffee milk available in most northern European countries was not available. 3 types of juices were dispensed from the machine with the orange being the best. Scrambled eggs smelled a bit fishy, also somewhat typical of the area, believe it is due to chickens being fed fish meal. There was a restaurant attached to the hotel specializing in rotisserie chicken, not sure if the restaurant was part of the hotel or independent. Price was very reasonable. Only complaint would be that meals are often served with only boiled or french fried potatoes, and lettuce with tomato salad. If visiting Tavira head to Santa Luzia and A Casa restaurant and try the grilled Octopus.
