We just stayed here for a week. Enjoyed our stay, knowing sort of what to expect. A small but clean room, it did us as was just me and my missus this time. We knew there was no entertainment of an evening, so this was no surprise. This location is going to be more and more popular now it is getting seen. Worth going just for the views and lake Ohrid is fantastic..had a few swims in it, just as warm as the hotel pool. We were all inclusive, but don't expect the usual abundant choice of food, deserts and drinks. Limited choice but nice, you won't go hungry. Very relaxed atmosphere with people just chilling, chatting or playing cards. Staff were fine, some not very enthusiastic, some very nice, but generally fine. All these things will improve and grow as it becomes more popular, they will learn how things are done. Hotel WiFi was good in an around the hotel except for in our room. The pool was nice, I especially liked swimming in it in the morning as it was not busy but a popular pool it is and should be. Sun beds were easy to get, but don't be too late as they are popular too. You also have the lakeside to choose by the hotel with sunbeds there. Ohrid Town is either a 1.5 hour walk or a cheap taxi ride away. There is a path, but you have to find it first, an then about a 15 minute walk to a little supermarket is also on the way. Definitely recommend going to the town. Day trips are good, we booked through Tui as it was convenient, you can book separately if you wish and possibly a bit cheaper, rep explains these things. All in all, a nice relaxing holiday in a great location with plenty of room for improvement.
