神祕溪汽車旅館(Mystery Creek Motel)

1. Barely a 'hello' when I checked into this property. Basically told here is the key, you are in this room, down the far end. No welcome, just checked my name against the booking and that was it. 2. Units were not numbered. 3. No outside lighting. Had to ask to have it turned on, so I could go to the car outside. 4. Light switch popping out from wall. 5. Neighbouring smoke alarm was intermitenttly beeping. I did not ring reception as I had already rung them about the lighting. So, located the source of the alarm and disabled it myself. 6. Towels were well past their use by date and had threads coming off them. Tatty. 7. Bed was comfy, sheets were clean. A very disappointing stay. It felt like the owners were not really into providing any kind of experience or pleasant stay except for taking my money. No hospitality at all.

The receptionist was very easy to deal with , the weather was not nice , lots of rain and the water puddled making it difficult to get from car to room , room was very clean , the bed comfortable but it would have been good to have had a few coat nooks to hang clothing ,there were a couple on the inside of toillet door .In saying that it was value for money. .Thanks

Nice stay. Comfortable bed/ bedding and clean. Aircon was a little noisey. Friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Only recommend: Replace toilet seat( seen better days )

Had the pleasure of staying at Mystery Creek Motel with my 3 children from 10/7/2023-13/07/2023 & it was amazing. Friendly staff, spacious clean rooms with comfy beds, good sized kitchen with an actual oven which staff cleaned and topped up on a daily basis. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something clean, comfortable & quiet. 10/10

Stayed for 6 nights. Basic accommodation, with fridge, jug and tea, a shared dining area I didn't use. Very clean, bed comfortable, quiet for a restful nights sleep. Close to airport, Ohaupo and 15 minutes to Te Awamutu. Owners pleasant and helpful. I would stay again.

Facilities were fine but the staff have no thought to customer service. Shared kitchens usually work well but in this instance food was purchased and stored was thrown out! Got back late evening to have dinner gone! No inquiry was made as a paying customer and no refund was given. Warning to other guests, don't leave food in shared Kitchen.
