Achnacriche B&B

Mitten im Nirgendwo befindet sich dieses Juwel von B&B&D-inner. Wenn man die Nc‘Nean Whisky Distillerie, die wie das B&B zum Drimnin Estate gehört, tut es ganz gut, wenn man nach dem Whisky Tasting die Nacht hier verbringen kann, besonders auch weil die äußerst freundlichen und wohlwollenden Gastgeber einen neben dem Breakfast auch noch mit einem Dinner verwöhnen. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, mit riesigem Bett und funktionalem Badezimmer. Alles ist sehr dauber und gepflegt. Der Garten vor dem Haus befindet sich zur Zeit in einer Ungestaltungsphase und es muss noch Arbeit investiert werden bevor dieses Projekt abgeschlossen ist. Vom Zimmer aus sieht man Abends die Hirsche in der Wiese grasen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wurden hervorragend bekocht.

Mi estancia en el bed & breakfast Achnacriche fue simplemente excepcional. Desde el momento en que llegamos, Elfik nos recibió con una amabilidad y hospitalidad que realmente hicieron que nos sintiéramos como en casa. Su atención a los detalles y su disposición para ayudarnos en todo momento hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera inolvidable. Elegimos este lugar por las vistas y la tranquilidad, y ciertamente no nos decepcionó. Las vistas panorámicas desde la propiedad son simplemente impresionantes y te permiten desconectar por completo del ajetreo y el bullicio de la vida cotidiana. La habitación en la que nos alojamos era espaciosa, impecablemente limpia y muy acogedora. Se nota que se preocupan por mantener todo en perfecto orden. Pero lo que realmente nos dejó sin palabras fue la comida. Tanto la cena como el desayuno fueron auténticas delicias. Cada plato estaba cuidadosamente preparado y lleno de sabores frescos y deliciosos. Si estás buscando un lugar para desconectar y ser realmente feliz, no puedo recomendar lo suficiente Achnacriche. La combinación de las vistas espectaculares, la amabilidad de Elfik y la comida excepcional hacen de este lugar un verdadero tesoro. ¡No puedes perdértelo! My husband and I spent a week at Achnacriche, hoping to "get away from it all." From the moment we arrived, we knew we had picked the right spot. Elfik and Zuzana provided everything we needed, the room was perfect, and Zuzana's food was over the top. Elfik has clearly made a point of learning everything about the area, and was a wealth of knowledge on what to see, and where to take walks, and the history of the area. We came wanting to escape, and left feeling part of their family. 5 stars are not enough!!

Stopped here during a working week on the West Coast of Scotland. Picturesque B&B, set in an idyllic backdrop. Elfik, Zuzana and Rhonda are genial host; very accommodating to their guests. The breakfasts & evening meals are excellent, fresh and home cooked - the room was spacious, bright and immaculate, providing a great night sleep and comes with a welcoming bottle of water and tea / coffee amenities. The estate is vast and the welcome pack brings to your attention the activities on offer, including bike hire, discounted rates to visit the nearby distillery etc. Would happily stay again, in a business or leisure capacity. Bring your own alcohol as none is available; however, wines and beers can be chilled by the hosts before your meals or via an ice bucket, should you require.

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Extremely comfortable with superb home cooked food. We stayed at this B&B with our son and his partner, it was are Christmas present from them. There was a lovely couple, Elfik and Zuzana running the place, they were very welcoming and attentive. The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There is a cosy sitting room, with a log fire. We were more or less given the run of the house. The view over the sound of Mull was stunning, it’s a great base for exploring the peninsula, and visiting the local whisky 🥃 distilleries. Highly recommend, we will definitely be back again.
