舊小屋飯店

I stayed two nights here while attending the Clipper Race Event in Oban and visiting Crinan, a place connected to my late husband. I stayed in the Jura suite, which was beautifully decorated and had a substantial en-suite! The suite also has access to a high-wood-vaulted lounge area with loads of books to look at. Breakfast was perfect. I had a cooked vegetarian meal, and it was delicious. I was lucky to have the "Bird-feeding TV" right before me. I loved seeing all the birds and wildlife visiting - with beautiful views along the coast. Finally, and I think most importantly, were the hosts themselves. They were extremely hospitable from the outset, and we chatted about so many things! Thank you so much and I will be back :)

An excellent stay at the Old Cottage, the hosts Karen and Darren were extremely welcoming and very helpful. Our room called Islay had absolutely everything that was required plus a few extras such as chocolates. The Breakfast was outstanding and if you are lucky and have an early breakfast you may even see Red Squirrels through the patio window. A wonderful B&B experience.

We chose this lovely BandB for its location and great reviews. It was an excellent choice. We cannot praise the hosts, Darren and Karen enough. We were warmly welcomed and shown our room , Islay. It had views of the garden and was beautifully appointed and really comfortable. The en suite was lovely and we had plenty of space. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Darren and Karen have a Great knowledge of the local area. This was helpful for planning our sightseeing. Thank you! The location is perfect for visiting Arduaine Garden, Kilmartin and Crinan. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Stop looking and book this place immediately! I cannot say enough wonderful things. The rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, the B&B overall is comfortable and inviting, and the breakfast was AMAZING. It is also in a fantastic location with a glorious view of the water. Karen and Darren have made sure The Old Cottage has everything you need to relax and truly be on holiday. We stayed in 8 hotels/B&Bs during our UK road trip, and this place was by far the best. Our only regret is that we were not able to stay longer!

Beautiful, well appointed cottage. Lovely, welcoming common sitting room with many books. Delicious, generous breakfasts with a charming view of bunnies and birds nibbling their own feast on the patio outside. Darren and Karen are warm, friendly hosts who are very knowledgeable about the area. Truly a fairy tale locale. I highly recommend a visit!
