Die Lage ist einzigartig,sehr ruhig und romantisch. Auf einer privat Insel die zum Erkunden einläd. Otter, Ziegen, Rinder und und und. Das Frühstück ist fantastisch, tolle Auswahl super Qualität. Das Abendessen für die Menge zu teuer. Das Personal etwas kühl und distanziert. Die Zimmer sind riesig mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Wir kommen sicher wieder

Fabulous place, great walks, quiet, beautiful, excellent service and the Victorian Suite is incredible, with a glass ceiling and an open fire. The spa and pool are very pleasant. The staff were so helpful, and gave us a tour of the whole island in the hotel’s 4x4, a book and a beautiful print of the building in acknowledgement that our ancestors used to own the place. Despite our family having sold it nearly one hundred years ago, the receptionist, Cathy (sp?) recognised the surname immediately. A special occasion was made even more special.

Fabulous service from everyone in the hotel . Great room, great food. Fabulous surroundings and lovely to walk around. Wellies needed! Lots of lovely wildlife to spot. Brilliant speakers in room to stream your music . Lovely big bathrooms. Great beds with lovely duvets and pillows Spa was just ok, only 6 seats/recliners at poolside which were all taken, so we had to sit on pool edge when not in the sauna/steam. Could boil potatoes in the jacuzzi , was very hot , no water in the dispenser and we were only told about the relaxation room on way out. this would have been a perfect place to sit as the poolside ones were occupied. Ladies, hairdryers in changing rooms are awful. The old fashioned pipe with a nozzle that blows very little air. Thankfully the ones back in the hotel rooms are great. All in all, a lovely hotel & island

I should have written this review much sooner. Had a fantastic long weekend here on a great winter deal staying in a Hilltop lodge and enjoying breakfast and dinner in the main hotel. It really was absolutely fantastic. Lodges are excellent and spacious whilst being cosy, food is top notch, service is great, pool/spa area brilliant. Really could not fault anything - one tiny bit of feedback was that I thought plastic glasses should be provided in the lodges for use in hot tub (for safety reasons). A minor issue with hot water whilst there was quickly sorted out by friendly and helpful GM Rob. Definitely planning to go back and 100% recommend.

Man får vad man betalar för. Hotellet ligger normalt utanför vår prisklass, men vi hade samlat ihop till en "gratisnatt" och ville dessutom göra resan lite speciell så vi unnade oss en natt här. Vi blev väldigt väl och personligen mottagna när vi anlände och rummet (eller snarare rummen) var som tagna ur en Hollywoodfilm. Middagen var bland den bästa vi ätit och servicen under middagen fantastisk. Salongerna var många och rymliga så det var aldrig något trängsel. Vi provade aldrig hotellets olika träningsmöjligheter eller spa, men området var mysigt att promenera runt i.
