奧克希爾旅館(The Oakhill Inn)

Went for Sunday lunch with friends. BTW This is my local. The food was superb, and smaller portions were appreciated for those with smaller appetites. And the prices were extremely reasonable for such quality. The atmosphere was very comfortable and the service efficient. The only fly in the ointment for me was in the payment option for tipping. Does everyone feel "cheap" if they choose not to leave a tip? It lefft a slightly bitter taste at the end of super meals.

Really warm welcome from the hosts, upgraded my room, wonderful freestanding bath, food was fabulous, very comfortable for my overnight stay! Everything I needed was there or just a question away. Great relief after long day at work.

We stayed for an overnighter and were really pleased. The evening dinner was really nice, well prepared, good quality, delicious food. The room was very clean and comfortable with good quality furnishings and a very comfortable bed. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they provided an excellent service. We would definitely stay here again.

Friendly place n comfortable room. Booked a King room so little disappointment with the size n small shower..But fabulous breakfast best we've had. Really friendly chef on at breakfast too.. Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

Lovely country pub in the heart of Oakhill. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful and the landlord is a real gem. Food was well priced and excellent quality l, breakfast was also super. Met friends for dinner and it all arrived timely on warm plates. Can’t fault the place and I will definitely stay again. 10/10 any day.

Room above a lovely little pub with friendly staff and serving great Sunday roasts! Paintwork could do with a bit of a refresh, but room was large with a big, comfy bed and huge bathroom with a roll top bath! Very peaceful one the pub had closed, as we were the only guests that night. Bottle of water was much appreciated and the breakfast was really good.

Really loved being greeted and checked in by my first name rather than the usual informal Sir. Even more impressed that my name was remembered during my two night stay, as this is a very popular establishment, and rightly so. Top class food and all round excellent service in a beautiful part of the country as well as being very dog friendly makes the Oakhill inn a brilliant place to stay

Very friendly and efficient staff, short but varied menu, I had flat iron steak which was beautiful and my husband had fish and chips which he said was excellent and very light. We shared a lovely cheesecake. Good atmosphere, seemed a popular local pub. Would definitely go again.
