Ein Traum mitten im Regenwald . Dieses Hotel hat einfach Ausstrahlung ! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, hier herrschte eine natürliche Eleganz, man hatte das Gefühl zu Hause zu sein. Das Regenwald-Häuschen Tip Top , sehr gute Küche, von der Bar ein traumhafter Blick über die Bucht . Ich kann es kaum in Worte fassen , so schön war es ……

My wife and I return to Thala for the 5th time. It never fails to unwind us . The cabins are comfortable and private set amongst the canopy of forest. The staff are well organised and make everyone feel at ease. Can’t wait to return.

L’accueil a Thala Beach etait tres sympathique. Un service agréable. La nourriture laissait à désirer. Et malheureusement nous y sommes allé en mars 2025, et ne pouvions pas mettre les pieds dans l’eau de mer à cause des méduses pouvant etre mortelles. C’est dommage. Et il a beaucoup plu. Il vaut mieux choisir une autre période. Chambre / maisonnette propre et bien entretenue. Air conditionné : un plus (necessaire).

Chose TBNR for birds, nature, relaxation and convenience of travel to the Daintree Port Douglas and Julatten. We were not disappointed. Very comfortable accommodation with orange footed megapodes, helmeted friarbirds, black butcherbirds, large billed gerygones and other birds on grounds and seen and heard from verandahs. Buggy always available for steep walks. Crown in jewel was the pond where there is a little kingfisher and a large flock of chestnut breasted mannikins and various doves plus wallabies. Very helpful staff in particular Brett. At dawn and through the morning watch the little kingfisher (2nd smallest in world) fishing in the pond from specially provided chairs situated a respectable distance from the pond. Magic!

Ein Hotel, für das die 5 Sterne wahrscheinlich gar nicht ausreichen werden. Super Abendessen (auch wenn etwas teurer), Noch bessere Zimmer Bungalows, Noch besserer Service, Und am Ende eine mehr als paradiesische Hotel Anlage. Tiere (u.a. Vögel, Kängurus, Varane, Kakadus, uvm.) , Wanderwege, Strand, 2 traumhafte Pools, mir fehlen die Worte zu beschreiben wie fantastisch dieses Hotel ist. Bucht das Hotel mitten im Regenwald! Ein Traum.

Quite weird that the sandpiper suite is over $5000 for 3 nights and does not include breakfast. Their reasoning is they serve a la carte breakfast. Please!!!!! Why would you not average out the cost of person having a la care and set that into the price. It put my clients off and have decided to spend their money elsewhere. It’s something the company needs to think about.
