米拉吉國王小屋(Mirage Kings Cottage)

Nice hotel in a colonial style with very beautiful gardens. The room was simple but spacious and the staff was very friendly. The dinner and breakfast buffet was good, but the variety of food was limited. One aspect that should be improved is the water pressure in the bathroom since it was very low. Overall, it is a nice hotel for a short stay in the Sri Lankan mountains.

Petit hôtel au charme anglais. Un jardin magnifique. Un personnel attentionné. On nous avait attribué la chambre à côté de l’accueil. Trop bruyante, ils ont accepté de nous donner une grande chambre sous les toits et très lumineuse. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner sont sous forme de buffet. Un buffet pas très grand mais une bonne cuisine. L’hôtel est un peu loin du centre ville mais au calme

A good hotel with a good quality buffet for both breakfast and lunch. Room ok and space and we had a nice balcony. Easy access to the town and lake by tuktuk. Can walk to the lake. The bar are was very good and we met our group there before dinner. staff excellent. Overall very good.

Very Beautiful property. Quite a good dinner & breakfast buffet. Really quick room service. Nuwara Eliya is a cold place. The manager asked us if we feel cold, we may demand additional room heater. When we asked for it they quickly delivered to our room. Room was quite good. The only complaint is that the warm water in the shower ran out quite fast & took some time to heat again.

For much of the time there was no-one around at the bar. Possibly, the hotel is a little short staffed. The room was fine but the bedclothes were a bit damp. Limited food in the restaurant but what was offered was tasty. The manager was very friendly and happy to chat. Nice gardens and only a short tuk-tuk ride away from Nuwara Eliya.

The staff do everything to make your stay memorable. The restaurant manager makes conversation with all the guests every dinner. There is a gratuity box in the dining room which is a good idea so that all the staff can be appreciated. The hotel rooms, although comfortable, could be modernised. There is Christian bible in the room, which.in our opinion should be supplemented with bibles of other religions as well, or be removed. All in all, a very good stay.

We arrived here as part of a mercury holidays tour group. We all stayed in slightly different rooms, our room had no patio or balcony( one of our groups rooms had no windows!!). A heater was provided ( we didn’t need it) . The iron was ancient and not useable( also no ironing board). Didn’t need it badly so didn’t bother to report it. Our kettle wouldn’t turn off and got dangerously hot- we did get that replaced. Food was buffet style and good . Packed breakfast was good. The bar was a nice area, although we were asked to move out as another tour party had a “meeting “…… felt it would have been more appropriate to have a meeting on the club house so other guests could enjoy the bar!!! We ordered a few cocktails, they came different every time, even though we ordered the same each time! If the weather is good there is nice seats to sit out on. No pool or anything.
