很有情調的一家民宿，清晨，現在陽台便可以看到茶山的風景和小鎮的風貌，一連住了兩天，感覺不錯。剛好朋友送了花，插起來放在陽台，很愉快的入住體驗。

Villa Mount Royal is conveniently located, offering easy access to Nuwara Eliya's main attractions, such as Gregory Lake, Hakgala Botanical Garden, and the tea plantations. Despite its proximity to town, it feels wonderfully secluded, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with modern amenities. I particularly appreciated the large windows that showcased the surrounding natural beauty – waking up to misty hills was truly magical! The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spotless, with a supply of hot water to beat the chilly weather. The villa has a cozy common area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The garden is well-maintained, providing a peaceful spot to enjoy your morning tea or coffee. Free Wi-Fi was available, though I recommend disconnecting for a while to soak in the tranquility of the setting. The on-site restaurant served delicious, freshly prepared meals. Their Sri Lankan breakfast was a highlight – hearty, flavorful, and made with love. The staff was accommodating to dietary preferences, ensuring a delightful culinary experience. Villa Mount Royal is a perfect choice for those seeking a blend of comfort and natural beauty in Nuwara Eliya. Whether you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway or a family in need of a peaceful retreat, this villa ticks all the boxes.

Horrible place to stay

We usually stay in chain hotels but based on reviews decided to stay here for a change and felt it was a mistake. Stayed for two nights and had very inconsistent experience. The location is bit away from city and next to tea plantation. The last 150M road is in bad shape. The check-in was fine. We had booked room with double bed, but the one we got had extra bed and no space to move around. We asked them to remove and they said they will do it tomorrow, that tomorrow never came. The Balcony was facing roof of another house blocking the view. We asked if we can get something with better view, the answer was again "tomorrow", which never came. What we liked was taking walk in tree plantations in the evening as those were next door. The listing mentioned tea/coffee maker in the room and also Air conditioning which was missing. while we didn't require it, there was a heater. When we asked for tea/ coffee maker, first it was refused, but after pointing out that they have it in their listing, they served tea, Had to follow up even for Water Bottles which were supposed to be provided daily. The food was good. You need to pre-order and they make it, not everything is available every day so be ready to make adjustments there too. The shower is nightmare, pressure was inconsistent and water will suddenly get cold and suddenly too hot. Not sure if this was based on someone else using shower at the same time. Overall based on our habits of staying at Chain Hotels, we will prefer to not opt for such options in future.

This place could be good but too many things let it down. On arrival we showered only to flood the bathroom, this was disappointing but the staff were very attentive, changed rooms for us when it couldn’t be fixed, then shifted us back a little later as it was rectified. And it is the best room in the place. But, no flyscreens or air conditioning makes for very disrupted nights. On the second night we left the room door open (we were the only guests) to remove the stuffiness. Breakfast was terrible, with the fruit looking like the leftovers from the previous day. I understand places are struggling but certain basics can’t be overlooked.

Добрый день. Заселялись в отель -были единственными гостями. Нам показали два номера на выбор. Номера не большие: спальня и душевая с туалетом. Но с высокими потолками. В спальне большая кровать, шкаф, зеркало, тумбочки и проход вокруг кровати. Окна большие. В хорошую погоду очень светло и солнечно. Есть строительные недостатки, например в душе пол без уклона к стоку, после душа вода везде и не уходит. Из-за сырости местами на стенах плесень. Персонал очень дружелюбный. Стараются выполнять пожелания гостей. Что нам не понравилось, то что в номере нет электрочайника. Приходилось каждый раз спускаться со второго этажа на первый, на кухню к повару за кипятком. На завтрак кормили нормально. Конечно не как в европе шведский стол. Последовательность подачи блюд удивила. Сначало принесли кофе, потом фрукты, потом тосты, масло и джем, кстати джем очень хорош, потом основное блюдо: два отварных яйца с салатом и две сосиски. Кстати сосиски размером с пальчиковую батарейку. Пока всё это поешь кофе уже холодный. Но это мелочи. Главное что в номере был обогреватель, потому что в сезон дождей сыро, а ночью температура в районе +15°. Также на кровати заправлено в пододеяльник синтепоновое одеяло. В общем спать было комфортно. Столовая с очень большими панорамными окнами из которых вид на горы и чайные плантации. В целом удобно и уютно.

Оставались в этом чудесном отеле на 2 дня. Все очень понравилось. Везде большие окна с шикарным видом. Номера чистые и комфортные. Персонал очень добрый и вежливый. Еда вкусная. Местоположение отличное. Есть бильярд и зона отдыха. Большая парковка. Нам все очень сильно понравилось. Всем рекомендую!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Nuwaraeliya ! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager. The staff and the manager were extremely friendly, The restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) The restaurant waiter deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. Thanks for your hospitality and will be back soon!🙏

An amazing property overlooking farm land, misty greenery and an old school. This place has everything you could need during your stay. Also the comfiest beds in Sri Lanka and well furnished rooms. Vnod is a lovely host too. I highly recommend staying here

This hotel is not as advertised and the description urgently needs to be updated. The facilities and services listed are not available and the rooms are in need of urgent repair. Things were either broken or did not work. The staff tried to assist but were unable to resolve the issues.

If you plan to visit Nuwara Elyia then Villa Mount Royal is a must. Such a peaceful & beautiful place, just a few yards from the Pedro Tea Plantation. We stayed 6 nights at this location and made o lot of trips in the tea fields. The staff is very friendly, always willing to help with anything we needed during our stay,. The room was very clean and the breakfast excellent. We wanted to have Sri Lankan breakfast and were spoiled every day with local specialties. Thank you for the beautiful days we spent here.
