冷杉鄉村民宿

We stayed at the Firs in Jan 2024, it was the last leg of our Sri Lanka trip. We can safely say that it was the best stay we had in Sri Lanka. The location of the hotel is beautiful, nested between trees. Close to the tea estate and the city centre. The food by the chef is the best we've had in Sri Lanka. The staff is very courteous and helpful. There's not much to do in Nuwara but I'd just come there to stay at The Firs

The bungalow is located in a very scenic environment, not too far from the town yet away from all the hectic mess. It's a very old bungalow maintained to the very best. Rooms are spacious and really clean so are the bathrooms. The food taste so good and the personalised menu for breakfast is a very generous thing. The staff is really friendly and amazing. The manager Sudharshan is the magic man behind all this wonderful place. Friendly, pleasant and very professional approach makes it very easy to deal with him. A big thumbs up to Sudharshan. We will definitely visit this bungalow soon and sorry for the late review. Good luck and keep up the good work

Lovely hotel situated high up in nuwura Eliya. Dinner and breakfast was delicious, suite was huge with v comfy king size bed and comfy single, perfect for 3 friends. Nice pool table for chilling after dinner, and super friendly and helpful staff. Great experience and would definitely recommend

Wir, zwei Paare, mussten unsere Übernachtung aufgrund eines Streiks auf dem Flughafen Hamburg stornieren, die Frist dafür war überschritten. Aber die Besitzer stellen uns keine Gebühren, was ja nicht zu erwarten war. Kurzfristig haben wir dann angefragt, ob wir später kommen können, kein Problem. Wir wurden zuvorkommend mit Regenschirmen in Empfang genommen, andere Angestellte kümmerten sich um unser Gepäck. Nachdem man uns im gemütlichen Sitzbereich Platz anbot, bekamen wir Tee gereicht. Unsere Suiten waren noch im Kolonialstil, das Bad aber zeitgemäß. Wir fanden die Einrichtung mal eben ganz anders, uns hat es gefallen. Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber, große Dusche mit picobello sauberer Glasfront. Das Abendessen extra für uns zubereitet, war sehr schmackhaft und hübsch angerichtet. Das es keine Getränkeauswahl gab war der Situation im Lande geschuldet, aber man konnte toll improvisieren. Man fragte oft nach, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit ist. Genauso herzlich wie wir empfangen wurden, wurden wir auch am anderen Morgen verabschiedet.
