諾瓦託/舊金山戴斯飯店(Days Inn by Wyndham Novato/San Francisco)

We just needed a place to sleep close to the 101 to break up our long drive. It was very conveniently located. Nothing fancy but it was quiet, clean, fine. There was an event going on when we checked in and it was super loud in the lobby, but we couldn’t hear it in our room, nor could we hear the 101 traffic noise.

It is easy to get to right off the freeway but the room was quiet. The room doors are heavy but they keep out the freeway noise. The pool looks clean and inviting but it was too cold out on May 1st to take a swim. We did not see any deer in the field nextdoor this time but we did the time before.

Toilet needs repair. The flusher doesn’t work properly. My husband had to keep opening the tank to get the apparatus to work. But overall, even though it is near the freeway, the room was very quiet and we love the pastoral setting and hills in the back. The complimentary breakfast consisted of coffee, Lipton tea (ugh) with hot water and orange juice in a tiny corner of the lobby. Not really sure why there is a microwave there. Not really a breakfast.

Too close to the freeway (101), noise day and night heard from the room. Premium Wi-Fi took my money but couldn't log on. Reception gave me a number, who gave me a number but none could do anything about it. No restaurant on site or nearby.

Hotel had easy freeway access in a semi- rural area . Our first room smelled of smoke, even though it is a smoke free hotel, but after informing the front desk we were quickly given a new room. The double Queen room at the back of the hotel was very spacious and quiet, looking out onto open hills. We were pleased with the hotel, but it did have a few negative points. First, an old truck, with trailer was parked at the side of the hotel that looked someone might have been sleeping in it, next to a shed with lots of junk outside. This really spoilt the otherwise good aesthetics of the place. Second, the hotel advertises a free breakfast which feature usually helps us decide when comparing different hotels. However this breakfast was just a granola bar from Costco, which hardly qualifies as a breakfast.

Easy check in, clean rooms, clean pool and jacuzzi area. Overall a great stay! Love having a fridge and microwave in the room!

This hotel's setting on one side is calming and pastoral (at least on the west side, facing the open space hills and trees facing the balconies and back sliding glass doors in each room. However, the more concerning matter here is THE STRONG DEGREE OF VERY NOTICEABLE, BOTHERSOME, INTRUSIVE, and CONSTANTLY-INVASIVE FREEWAY TRAFFIC NOISE, coming from the east side of the hotel wings (each room's front door faces eastwardly). How was this continuing annoyance apparently all-but ignored by the architects here? . The room's front door also sags on one side (poorly hinged) while it's inadequately weather-stripped perimeter also leave an empty space under the door itself... an unsealed gap of at leat a quarter inch, or more (!) allowing light, air, and continuing noise entering the room! Who was supposed to make sure these spaces weren't there, even around the sides of the front door? Inside the room, the TV's remote control wasn't working very well (esp. the audio level button). NO 'continental breakfast' was there either: just coffee or juice, along with some crusty, lame, and likely stale, old peanut butter bars (who knows how old they were!). The grounds seemed nice, in back, but unfortunately, no sound protections at all were there (freeway right across the street!). The room seemed clean though, and the hallways outside free of trash buildup. I only wish whatever Days Inn 'management' SHOULD HAVE BEEN AWARE AND CONCERNED ABOUT THE ALL-TOO IMMEDIATE TRAFFIC NOISE ISSUE

The bed was comfy and the staff were friendly. However, the condition of the room was very run down and, despite advertising as a "complimentary breakfast", it was only juice and coffee with no food.
