This is the 3rd time i have stayed at the cottage hotel, staff are all very friendly and professional. The rooms are immaculate, spacious with good facilities. Breakfast is spot on! no negatives from me highly recommend this place. Steve

If anyone is staying in Nottingham but doesn’t want city centre pricing or bland city centre hotels this is a great place check out. Drive time from central Nottingham via West Brigeford circa 20 mins max. Bus from outside hotel every 15 mins. Free onsite car parking. The staff are amazingly friendly and the owner works her shifts same as the rest of the team. Whilst the hotel has a bar (very nice and courtyard leading off) there are 7 other pubs in the village all within between 1 min and 15 mins max walk. The village has a lovely feel, cafes bakeries, butchers etc. The hotel is actually a group of cottages around a central courtyard made into individual rooms and suites. We didn’t have dinner but the full English breakfast was lovely with a good number of other options and variations. This is a family owned and run business and the team could not be more friendly and helpful. However you have to accept that some of the decor is a little tired, but perfectly acceptable, that is only a very minor point and is the only reason our review is not 5 star. That said I have stayed in a number of city centre hotels in Nottingham and this one is much better and far better value. We will be back!

I got married at The Cottage Hotel on 30th November 2024. The venue is gorgeous, cosy and great for photographs. The staff were incredible throughout the whole process and on the wedding day itself, could not have wished for any better. Massive thank you for everything you all did to give me the best day of my life! Would 1000% recommend! ♥️

Came up from home 170 miles to see family and this place is perfect, great breakfast, comfy beds but as the booking sites take 18% i advise to book direct. Staff were great rooms were fine, yes a few bits of paint here and there but booking direct means they have more funds to improve little things. The only annoyance was you should book an upstairs room as if you are downstairs you can hear people walking around above or talking but that's old buildings. We will return.

I celebrated my 80th birthday with family and friends at the Cottage Hotel in Ruddington. I had the most wonderful time. The hotel was clean and warm with a lovely comfortable bed and bedding and white fluffy towels. The food was superb all freshly prepared by their own chef. The staff were so amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly and welcoming. I can’t thank them enough. A lovely hotel to make happy memories. Would recommend to anyone.

We had my mums 80th birthday party there yesterday, 21st September 24. We have been looking forward to it for a couple of months and it didn’t disappoint in anyway. The staff were absolutely amazing, kind, helpful, obliging and went out of their way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and the party room was perfect. We honestly can’t thank everyone enough especially Stella, Katie and Thomas. We will be back for my mums 90th!!
