Bar Harbor Manor was a very lovely place for us to stay. It is located not too far from shops and dining as well as being located close to Acadia National Park. The staff were amazing during our stay, making sure us novices knew the area and cool places to check out. We had a great first trip to Maine thanks to them! Highly recommend

Tiny room in a beautiful hotel. Queen bed uncomfortable, filled the whole room. Nowhere else to sit. Bathroom so small it had a half sized tub. Kleenex and hairdryer had to be in the main room.
Host gave no explanations. Couldn't recommend anywhere for dinner. Main issue was there was no way to control the heat. Room was at 62 degrees overnight.
Knickknacks and useless decor covered every surface of the room and hotel. Ridiculous when room so small.

Beware - classic bait-and-switch operation! Room we were given did not look anything like the one shown in ******* pictures! Our plain yellow walls in a small, undecorated room did not look anything like what was shown on the ******* site. 'Sorry, there's nothing we can do' was the stock answer given by the hard-to-deal-with front desk and customer relations manager; nothing offered as compensation...

Pre arrival I was contacted by the property manager and she couldn’t have been nicer. The room was beautiful, clean and cheery. I would love to see the property during the summer months.
