Deer Park Resort

We had unit 139-2. So let me start with what we liked. We had a beautiful view of the river. Very peaceful. And the King size bed was super comfortable. Nice hiking trails along the river and around the lake. Now for what we weren't thrilled about. As soon as we arrived we realized the fireplace didn't work. So I immediately called reception and there response was, 'oh yes we are waiting for parts for it'. Why would you put someone in a unit when you know the fireplace doesn't work? We were very disappointed as we have a fireplace at home and love having our coffee in the morning beside it. The unit was very dated and could use a makeover. And it is definitely not soundproof. Someone above got up at 6:15 a.m. the first two mornings. Woke us up and you could hear them walking above us. So would we go again, not likely.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Deer Park. The location was excellent, only a few minutes to Loon and close to Woodstock for food and shopping. The check in was easy and the gentleman behind the desk was really nice. The amenities like the pool, hot tub, gym, and courts were updated and were great for families. We had a one bedroom and it was fine for our needs, it could have been a little bit bigger but we have stayed in smaller units so it was not an issue. The unit was not new but everything worked and had everything we needed to make meals. We would definitely go back!

Nice resort and close to everything. Unfortunately our Unit riverside 140-1 had no shower curtain so couldn’t use. Unit was clean and neat. Great place for skiers. We would stay again if up this way but in larger unit. Nice grounds and pool area.

We were looking for a resort in the mountains and saw availability in New Hampshire. It was our first time in the state. The location was great, we were literally 5 minutes from the ***** where we could find many quality eateries, a movie theatre, and we also took a few day trips to visit Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough, Santa's Village, Christmas Loft, and an ice skating and sledding village near Attitash Mountain Resort. We also enjoyed spending quality family time in our room every night. The resort had a chest of drawers filled with family games which we took advantage of. The 2 bedroom unit we stayed at in Notchbrook was very clean, plenty of parking, laundry facilities, which we didn't use but were glad it was available and the beds were very comfortable. The Recreation center has 2 levels, was very spacious and has an indoor heated pool and spa. The kids liked the arcade games and there are courts indoors for wallyball or paddleball. It was too cold outside to use the tennis courts. The staff was great, we especially want to thank Brian for his help during our stay. Overall, the food everywhere was great, no lack of activities to do, plenty of area events this time of year. One thing I really appreciated was no traffic anywhere! You can get to where you are going easily and the scenery is beautiful. I felt rested during our stay. We will return in the future.

This was a relaxing vacation in the White Mts, with a river literally in the back yard of the resort units. Great place for nature walks and hiking. Very close to many hiking trails in the area, as well as Alpine Adventures for ziplining.... We had adjoining units, one unit had a queen sized bed with full bath - separate whirlpool tub & shower, small stacked washer & dryer, full kitchen, and living room.... the other unit was a studio with a pull down Murphy bed (surprisingly comfy), full bath w/ tub/shower, and mini kitchen with dorm sized fridge, microwave, tiny sink, & 2 electric burners... (we used the full kitchen in the larger unit). Staff was friendly & accommodating... there were minor maintenance issues that were tended to promptly... great place, great views...

Extremely, Well Located to a Major, Intrastate Highway (i-93) and The Overall, White Mountains and Ski Resort Areas, while still having Very Close Proximity To Local, Shopping and Multi-Entertainment Venues like Theaters, Water Parks, Movies,Train Rides, Restaurants and Bars; and, It's also located in a Beautiful Layout along a Stream/River, with Multiple, Mountain Views.
