We got to the spa and reception Lewis was really helpful. Also, Jude from housekeeping was lovely. She showed us to our rooms. Couldn’t fault any of it. Also the food was amazing. All in all. All staff were really nice. Definitely go again, thank you so much

Another fantastic stay. A must go to spa, the staff are superb, the facilities are great and the food is delicious. Our niece came to visit us why we were there and have even changed their arrangements to visit Champneys Springs. We will definitely return next month for a fantastic relaxing break. Thank you to Carol,Pete and all the lovely attentive staff.

A whole lot of disappointment, unfortunately. This business seems more focused on cramming in as many customers as possible and charging premium prices, rather than delivering a quality experience. It felt more like a cattle service than a relaxing visit — which would be somewhat acceptable if the pricing reflected that, but it certainly doesn’t. The plush-looking seats appeared comfortable and inviting, but with the sheer number of people packed in, I never even got a chance to sit in one. The rooms we were in were tired, dated, and clearly in need of some TLC — not what you’d expect for the cost. The only real highlight was the facial, which was genuinely excellent. Sadly, everything else was hopelessly overpriced and overcrowded. I won’t be returning.

With a reputation like Champneys I was able expecting a lot more than we got. Arrival was great, friendly staff greeted us with robes and flip flops in the correct size and shown around. The hospitality areas were great but the facilities are tired and run down. Changing rooms with disabled toilets not in use and only two other toilets in the ladies changing rooms. No where near sufficient loungers meant we were unable to relax poolside at all during our spa day. Welcome breakfast and lunch were pretty good buffet style but it’s the relaxation we came for but left disappointed.

Very very disappointing. Our shower stopped working late in evening. Early in morning it came back on, on its own and couldn’t be turned off, then was on / off during night causing us lack of sleep and a steamed up bedroom. We came for a relaxing break! Spoke to Customer Services manager the next day who offered us a free return stay. Had to follow up by phone 3 times for a email to finally arrive over a week later offering us a return night away for £50 each… not what was promised. Thought about complaining to head office but what’s the point - they clearly don’t care!

I've recently had both a spa day and an overnight stay. Both are fantastic. It is set in beautiful surroundings and everything laid out well. The bedrooms are clean and modern. There are many spots to sit and read your book, both inside and outside. The food is fantastic. Excellent selection and even better tasting. In particular, I'd like to mention a special thanks to Catrina who checked me in for meals. She is polite, professional and clearly a caring person. She recognised me from one visit to the next, which made my experience as a solo guest feel welcoming and noticed. She went above and beyond and I enjoyed chatting to her. A little kindness can really help to boost your mood to maximise feelings of wellbeing. Thank you.
