Elaine and the team (Becky, Holly and everyone) provide a real home-from-home, relaxing holiday experience. Food is great, beer is perfect. Top marks!

I stayed here for one night as I working in the area. All the staff were warm, friendly and accomodating and the room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. There was plenty of parking too. Very reasonably priced and I would most definitely stay here again.

Nice clean room. Staff friendly. Easy place to find and plenty of parking. We did not get breakfast here as left before pub had woken up.

Friendly staff, good food, lovely clean room, free parking and a great location. The landlady got up early for me so I could get my breakfast and be on my way. Slept solid all night. Will be back. I’ve read some negative reviews on here and I can only think this was before the current owners.

Brilliant. Stayed through the week for work, cosy rooms, great beer garden and delicious food 😁 Elaine was always on hand and had no issues when I had left my room keys in the office mid stay. Cracking local pub I'll be back to stay in a few weeks.

Elaine, Kate and the team always make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Their hospitality is informal yet professional and it’s a perfect place to meet friends for a drink and supper. The rooms are comfortable, warm and clean and the overall experience has been perfect.

Was a lovely hotel staff was so friendly food in pub was amazing can't fault it at all felt very welcomed good value for money room was cosy bed was comfortable good size room selection tea coffee biscuits staff was so helpful room was ready when we got there smooth checkin
