Clean hotel with friendly Staff (especially Nicola on Rezeption). The hotel is convenient for Percy Main on the Metro and the ferry (and cruise) terminal. Will return , if we cruise from North shields in the future. Whitley Bay and especially Tynemouth are well worth a visit.

Very quiet clean hotel. Very handy for the ferry and Brewers Fayre next door. Lovely helpful staff, especially hotel manager, Fiona, who looked after our helmets. Stayed at lots of Premier Inns. Definitely one of the best. Free safe parking.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Brilliant location and a friendly face always. Visited many times and consider ourselves regulars! The breakfasts are excellent with a wide choice of items. Rooms always clean and fresh. Looking forward to our next stay.

This was of the usual high Premier Inn quality with spacious rooms and a large bathroom with a bathtub. There was a restaurant next door. The hotel is situated by the gates of the ferry terminal and it is a level ten minute walk from the gates to the cruise and ferry terminal buildings. The 12pm checkout is also useful if the boat leaves in the afternoon. The major downside is that there is virtually no public transport in the area meaning that you have to get a taxi to the hotel (about £20 from Newcastle Central Station) or face a long walk from the nearest bus stop or metro station.

Very friendly helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Brewers Fayre next door was ideal for breakfast and evening meal with the Premier Inn doing a prebookable package. Convenient for many attractions. Close to Whitley Bay and Newcastle

I was going to meet some friends at Whitley Bay with my family, but the drive was ages away, so we decided to stay overnight in this nearby Premier Inn for convenience. There was a vending machine which was fun. We stayed in Room 3. When we got into the room, it was very nice and very clean. It looked nice inside, the beds were comfy, and we couldn't wait to sleep there. My brother ran up and down the aisle. There was some depressing news on the tv as I was going to sleep. Comfy sleep, lovely rooms and staff. Breakfast tasted amazing. I recommend the pancakes (with syrup, as they can be a bit dry without it) and the full English. Overall, i had a fantastic time and my trip out was so fun. Would definitely recommend the hotel, and would love to stay here again!

The 2 ladies who checked us in and the young lass who helped us with getting an ironing board, were three of the friendliest premier inn staff I have ever come across...they were lovely....it's that little bit of extra friendliness that makes a hotel stay imo.....I'm so sorry I can't remember your names, but it was on Saturday 28th September just before 3pm....Great professional service...thank you 😀

My wife and I stayed here as a part of our travel through many areas of the UK. This particular location was conveniently located and allowed us to get around to many interesting areas that are nearby. We have friends who live in the area and this is what led to our picking this particular spot to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and quiet. If/when in the area we'll definitely consider this as a place to stay.
