What a beautiful part of the world. Tranquility personified. We stayed in the Kookaburra room which has an outdoor magnesium pool, indoor spa, veranda and indoor fireplace. Absolutely gorgeous. Absolute privacy. For me it’s the little things which make the difference and this place definitely leads the ways in terms of luxury. Everything has been well thought out and no expense spared. From luxe comfortable bedding to rival the Sofitel, Sheridan towelling, T2 tea bags in all the best flavours, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, bread, port, gin and cocktail shaker essentials, yoghurts, butter, chocolates from the local providore and a cheese platter on arrival as well as daily freshly baked croissant delivered quietly on our doorstep table. I could go on and on. Every little thing was thought of over and above and was luxury brand, no expense was spared and I will always remember that. We will be back. A definite 10/10.

Had a lovely mid-week stay at the Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat. The cabin was very spacious with a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace and spa bath, bedroom and large bathroom with double shower, as well as the deck with BBQ. We took advantage of one of the packages offered - 'Hinterland Highlights' which was perfect with most food and some activities organised for us to simply enjoy. The food hampers were very generous. We especially enjoyed the picnic hamper that we took to Maleny Botanical Gardens (wine, cheese, crackers, salami, salad, fruit, bread, juice, and chocolates) and the BBQ hamper (steaks, sausages, baked potatoes, garlic bread, salad, ice creams) that was delivered to our cabin. The breakfast hamper was good as well, complimented with fresh croissants each morning. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the relaxing stay and chance to explore the area.

Stayed in the Cockatoo Villa. Very Luxurious. Opened plan, high ceilings, very comfortable bed & pillows. Very deep heated plunge pool, we enjoyed it immensely while it rained. The villa was clean, and positioned to feel private even though the next villa's were close. The food was outstanding. Fresh and delicious and on time with some already in the villa. The morning croissants were a special touch & the wine choices were spot on. Ali & Xochi exude a passion for their clients, always happy to help and contactable, we thank you for your hospitality. The stay was pricey, but we feel we got what we paid for and do recommend this if you want to spoil yourselves or your someone.

We have just arrived home from our second stay and it did not disappoint. We had an amazing relaxing stay and can't wait to go again! Amazing service, yummy hot croissants delivered fresh daily. The breakfast hamper and BBQ hamper was delicious. Such a cosy comfy place to relax and wind down. This place has it all from a fireplace, heater, spa, most comfy bed and everything you need to not have to leave for the weekend. Thank you so much to the friendly owners and family we were certainly spoilt.

The stay was amazing, the hosts were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Quiet, serene and couples only retreat. We really enjoyed all the food extras, the private pool and everything included in the clean and secure villa. Thank you to the owners

The atmosphere is serene & peaceful surrounded by nature. Perfect place to relax & unwind feeding the beautiful bird life. Villas are cosy and equipped with wonderful breakfast hampers with local produce not to mention the fresh hot crossaints delivered to you each morning. A nice touch from the wonderful hosts Ali & Xochi. Thank you once again for the wonderful experience.
